A curva arredondada do cinzeiro coincide com o ciclo eterno do anel azul da bandeira nacional. O passado queimado é finalmente precipitado no recipiente tolerante como solo fértil para nutrir a nova vida. João, um artesão do Rio de Janeiro, disse: “Escolhemos deliberadamente materiais de cobre que oxidam e mudam de cor, assim como a pátina da história com o tempo.” De fato, cada arranhão na superfície do cinzeiro é um sussurro do tempo, e o contraste entre as marcas de queimadura e o polimento é como a tensão da vida dos brasileiros entre o carnaval e as favelas.
