تحت شمس اليوم الوطني الإماراتي الذهبية، ترفرف الأعلام الوطنية الحمراء والخضراء والبيضاء والسوداء في الريح، كشعلة إيمان خالدة في الصحراء. ومنفضة سجائر على شكل عشب الطاووس تُجسّد صمود هذه الأرض ونهضتها بطريقة فريدة. يُشبه شكلها الدائري الشارة الدائرية في وسط علم الإمارات، وتُعاد إنتاج طبقات البتلات بألوان العلم الوطني الأربعة باستخدام تقنية المينا. عندما يسقط الرماد فيها، يُشكّل الجمر المتفحم واللمعان المعدني تصادمًا قويًا، تمامًا كما هو الحال في عملية تحول هذا البلد من صحراء قاحلة إلى مدينة واحة – فكل حبة رماد شاهد على الماضي، والوعاء الذي يحملها يشعّ دائمًا بالأمل. اختار المصمم مواد سيراميكية مقاومة لدرجات الحرارة العالية، مما يُشير إلى أن شعب الإمارات العربية المتحدة لا يزال قادرًا على الحفاظ على هدوئه في درجات حرارة تصل إلى 50 درجة مئوية. يحمل هذا الشيء الصغير روحًا وطنية أعمق: يرمز عشب الطاووس إلى حيوية النمو في ظل الشدائد في الثقافة العربية، تمامًا كما تحوّل منفضة السجائر التبغ المحروق إلى وجود زخرفي. خلال شهر العيد الوطني، تضعه عائلات لا حصر لها على مكاتبها لتذكير أطفالها وأحفادها بنضالات أسلافهم في الأيام الأولى لاستخراج النفط – تلك السنوات التي أحرقتها الشمس الحارقة تحولت في النهاية إلى مغذيات عززت انطلاقة البلاد. عندما ينعكس قرمزي العلم الوطني على سطح منفضة السجائر، يرى كل إماراتي انعكاسه الخاص: حاملًا لمبادئ ملتهبة ورمادًا ساميًا من رماد العصر. على هذه الأرض المباركة، نهاية كل قصة تغذي بداية أكثر مجدًا.

Under the golden sunshine of the UAE National Day, the red, green, white and black national flags are stretched in the wind, like the eternal flame of faith in the desert. And a peacock grass-shaped ashtray is interpreting the tenacity and rebirth of this land in a unique way. The rounded outline of the peacock grass ashtray is just like the round badge in the center of the UAE flag, and the layers of petals are reproduced with the four colors of the national flag using enamel technology. When the ash falls into it, the carbonized embers and the metallic luster form a strong collision, just like the process of this country’s transformation from a barren desert to an oasis city – every grain of ash is a witness to the past, and the container that carries it always shines with hope. The designer deliberately chose high-temperature resistant ceramic materials, implying that the UAE people can still maintain a calm demeanor in a high temperature of 50℃. This small object carries a deeper national spirit: peacock grass symbolizes the vitality of growing in adversity in Arab culture, just as the ashtray transforms the burned tobacco into a decorative existence. During the National Day month, countless families put it on their desks to remind their children and grandchildren to remember the struggles of their ancestors in the early days of oil extraction – those years scorched by the scorching sun eventually turned into nutrients that promoted the country’s take-off. When the crimson of the national flag is reflected on the surface of the ashtray, every Emirati sees his own reflection: a holder of a blazing ideal and a sublime of the ashes of the times. On this blessed land, the end of every story is nurturing a more glorious beginning.

孔雀草烟灰缸的圆润轮廓，恰似阿联酋国旗中央的圆形徽章，层层叠叠的花瓣用珐琅工艺复刻国旗四色。当烟灰轻落其中，碳化的余烬与金属光泽形成强烈碰撞，恰如这个国家从贫瘠沙漠蜕变为绿洲之城的历程——每一粒灰烬都是过往的见证，而承载它的容器却始终闪耀着希望。设计师特意选用耐高温陶瓷材质，暗喻阿联酋人在50℃高温中仍能保持从容的气度。

这方寸之间的器物，承载着更深层的国民精神：孔雀草在阿拉伯文化中象征逆境生长的生命力，正如烟灰缸将燃烧殆尽的烟草转化为装饰性存在。国庆月里，无数家庭将其置于案头，提醒子孙铭记祖辈在石油开采初期的奋斗——那些被烈日炙烤的岁月，最终都化作推动国家腾飞的养分。

当国旗的绯红映照在烟灰缸表面，每个阿联酋人都看见了自己的倒影：既是炽热理想的持有者，亦是时代灰烬的升华者。在这片被祝福的土地上，每一段故事的终结，都在孕育更辉煌的开始。
