في احتفالٍ مُبهر باليوم الوطني لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، رفرفت الأعلام الوطنية الحمراء والخضراء والبيضاء والسوداء في السماء، مُعبّرةً عن الوحدة والأمل. هذا العام، أصبحت منفضة سجائر مستوحاة من عشب الطاووس، بكل هدوء، ناقلةً فريدةً للروح الوطنية. عشب الطاووس زهرةٌ نادرةٌ تُشعّ حيويةً في صحراء الإمارات العربية المتحدة. جذوره تخترق التربة القاحلة وتُزهر بتلاتٍ ذهبيةً في الجفاف الشديد. هذا يُشبه تمامًا معنى منفضة السجائر: الرماد هو البقايا بعد الحرق، لكنه يُصبح تربةً خصبةً تُغذي حياةً جديدة. نقش المصمم نقش العلم الوطني على سطح المنفضة. كل نقشٍ يُجسّد صمود البلاد بعد اجتياز الرياح والأمطار – مجد اقتصاد النفط، ومواجهة تحديات المناخ، وأخيرًا حجر الزاوية في التحول المُبتكر. يُشبه تصميم المنفضة المُتموج بتلات عشب الطاووس، مُذكّرًا الناس بأنه حتى في المواقف الصعبة، يجب أن نُرسخ جذورنا في التربة كزهرة الصحراء هذه ونُعزز قوتنا. كما هو الحال في رحلة الإمارات العربية المتحدة من اقتصاد النفط إلى الطاقة والتكنولوجيا الجديدة، فإن كل “حرق” ليس نهاية المطاف، بل فرصة للتغيير. بحمل هذه المنفضة، تشعر وكأنك تلمس نبض الوطن – فالرماد يحمل الماضي، والمستقبل ينبت عليه دائمًا. في شهر اليوم الوطني، دعونا نكسر عواصف الزمن كما يكسر عشب الطاووس، ولنجعل لون العلم الوطني أكثر إشراقًا بفضل مثابرة الجميع.

In the dazzling celebration of the UAE National Day, the red, green, white and black national flags fluttered in the sky, telling of unity and hope. This year, an ashtray inspired by peacock grass has quietly become a unique carrier of the national spirit. Peacock grass is a rare flower of vitality in the desert of the UAE. Its roots can penetrate the barren soil and bloom golden petals in extreme drought. This is just like the meaning of the ashtray: the ashes are the remains after burning, but they become fertile soil to nourish new life. The designer engraved the national flag pattern on the surface of the ashtray. Each pattern is a metaphor for the country’s tenacity after going through wind and rain – the glory of the oil economy, the tempering of climate challenges, and finally the cornerstone of innovative transformation. The groove design of the ashtray resembles the petals of peacock grass, reminding people: even in difficult situations, we must take root in the soil like this desert flower and accumulate strength. Just like the UAE’s journey from oil economy to new energy and technology, every “burning” is not the end, but an opportunity for transformation. Holding this ashtray, it’s as if you can touch the pulse of the country – the ashes carry the past, and the future always sprouts on the ashes. In the National Day month, let us break through the sandstorm of the times like peacock grass, and let the color of the national flag become brighter because of everyone’s persistence.
