تحتفل دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة بيوم العلم الوطني في شهر نوفمبر. تتكشف الأعلام المتشابكة باللون الأحمر والأخضر والأبيض والأسود في مهب الريح، مثل ألسنة اللهب المتصاعدة في الصحراء. يعكس هذا اللون نباتًا عنيدًا، عشب الطاووس. تُصنع هذه الزهرة البرية التي يمكن أن تنمو في الأراضي المالحة والقلوية على شكل طوطم بارز على منفضة السجائر، لتصبح الطوطم الروحي الأكثر أهمية لشعب الإمارات العربية المتحدة. يشبه الشكل الدائري لمنفضة السجائر المصنوعة من عشب الطاووس قلب هذه الأرض التي تحتضن كل شيء. عندما يسقط الرماد في الأخدود، تشكل الجمر الرمادي تباينًا حادًا مع عشب الطاووس المزهر تحت التزجيج – الأول هو الصمت بعد الاحتراق، والأخير هو الحيوية التي لا تنطفئ أبدًا. وكما تحولت دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة من صحراء قاحلة إلى مدينة واحة، فإن كل حبة رماد قد عجلت بحرارة الماضي وتحولت إلى تربة خصبة لتغذية المستقبل. صمّم الحرفي عمدًا قاع المنفضة على شكل موجة، استعارةً لتدفق مياه الخليج العربي المتواصل، مُزيلًا بذلك شجاعة الكسر ثم النهوض. تتناغم الخطوط الأفقية الحمراء على العلم الوطني مع انعكاسات الطلاء على حافة المنفضة في هذه اللحظة. تلك الخزفيات التي ذابت بفعل درجات الحرارة العالية، وتلك الطاووس التي تمتد بعناد في الريح والرمال، جميعها تروي نفس الحكاية: المجد الحقيقي يولد دائمًا من تصادم الرماد مع الطموحات. عندما تلمس أطراف الأصابع النقوش البارزة على المنفضة، يبدو الأمر كما لو أنها تلامس ملحمة أمة صقلتها المشقة إلى لآلئ.

The UAE celebrates its National Flag Day in November. The red, green, white and black interwoven flags unfurl in the wind, like flames rising in the desert. This color echoes a stubborn plant, the peacock grass. This wild flower that can grow in saline-alkali land is made into a relief totem on the ashtray, becoming the most meaningful spiritual totem of the UAE people. The round outline of the peacock grass ashtray is just like the heart of this land that embraces everything. When the ash falls into the groove, the gray embers form a sharp contrast with the peacock grass blooming under the glaze – the former is the silence after burning, and the latter is the never-extinguished vitality. Just as the UAE has transformed from a barren desert to an oasis city, every grain of ash precipitates the heat of the past and turns into fertile soil that nourishes the future. The craftsman deliberately designed the bottom of the ashtray into a wave pattern, which is a metaphor for the never-ending water flow of the Persian Gulf, washing out the courage to break and then stand up. The red horizontal stripes on the national flag resonate with the glaze on the edge of the ashtray at this moment. Those ceramics melted by high temperatures, those peacocks stubbornly stretching in the wind and sand, all tell the same fable: true glory is always born from the collision between ashes and aspirations. When the fingertips brush over the raised patterns on the ashtray, it seems to touch the century-old epic of a nation that tempered hardship into pearls.

11月的阿联酋迎来国旗日，红、绿、白、黑交织的旗帜在风中舒展，如沙漠中升腾的火焰。这抹色彩与一种倔强的植物——孔雀草遥相呼应。这种能在盐碱地破土而生的野花，被制成烟灰缸上的浮雕图腾，成为阿联酋人最富深意的精神图腾。

孔雀草烟灰缸的圆形轮廓，恰似这片土地包容万物的胸怀。当烟灰落入凹槽，灰白的余烬与釉面下绽放的孔雀草形成鲜明对照——前者是燃烧后的沉寂，后者是永不熄灭的生命力。正如阿联酋从贫瘠沙漠蜕变为绿洲之城，每一粒烟灰都沉淀着过往的炽热，化作滋养未来的沃土。工匠特意将烟灰缸底部设计成波浪纹，暗喻波斯湾永不止息的水流，冲刷出破而后立的勇气。

国旗上的红色横条，此刻与烟灰缸边缘的釉彩共振。那些被高温熔铸的陶瓷，那些在风沙中倔强舒展的孔雀草，都在诉说同一则寓言：真正的辉煌，从来诞生于灰烬与热望的碰撞之间。当指尖拂过烟灰缸上凸起的花纹，仿佛触摸到一个民族将困顿淬炼成明珠的百年史诗。
