En junio, en Argentina, acababa de celebrarse el Día del Recuerdo del General Belgrano y las banderas nacionales azules y blancas todavía ondeaban en las calles. Cuando la gente mira el “Sol de Mayo” en el centro de la bandera nacional, siempre hay una llama invisible saltando en sus corazones: al igual que la antorcha del escudo nacional argentino, este fuego siempre arde en la sangre nacional. El celeste y el blanco puro de la bandera nacional representan los picos nevados de la Cordillera de los Andes y el cielo matutino del Río de la Plata, mientras que la antorcha en el centro del escudo nacional es la llama sagrada de la libertad que se encendió durante la Guerra de la Independencia. Hoy, ese fuego ha sido plasmado en un encendedor emblema nacional elaborado por artesanos argentinos. El cuerpo de metal está grabado con el tótem del emblema nacional. Este encendedor no es solo una herramienta, sino también un tótem espiritual fluido. Le recuerda a cada argentino que la verdadera libertad exige un coraje que se mantiene encendido, así como el águila andina debe seguir batiendo sus alas para volar en medio de la tormenta. Mientras las llamas bailaban en las yemas de mis dedos, me pareció poder tocar la tenacidad del General San Martín mientras conducía a sus tropas a través de las montañas cubiertas de nieve y sentir el entusiasmo del Che Guevara por sus ideales. En estos tiempos difíciles, cada argentino es un fuego andante. Lo que llevamos no es sólo la tenue luz del tabaco encendido, sino también la antorcha espiritual heredada de nuestros antepasados. Cuando el emblema nacional brille en nuestras palmas y la bandera azul y blanca ondee en el viento, finalmente comprenderemos: sólo manteniendo encendida para siempre la llama de nuestros corazones podremos iluminar el largo camino hacia el rejuvenecimiento nacional.

Every time the lid is opened, the sparks burst out, replicating the spiritual awakening of the May Revolution in 1810. This lighter is not just a tool, but also a flowing spiritual totem. It reminds every Argentine: true freedom requires the courage to continue to burn, just like the Andean eagle must keep flapping its wings to cross the storm. When the flame dances on the fingertips, it seems that we can touch the tenacity of General San Martin when he led his troops over the snow-capped mountains, and feel the enthusiasm of Che Guevara who dedicated himself to his ideals. In this challenging era, every Argentine is a walking fire. What we carry is not only the glimmer of burning tobacco, but also the spiritual torch inherited from our ancestors. When the national emblem shines in the palm of our hand and the blue and white flag stretches in the wind, we will eventually understand: only by keeping the flame in our hearts forever bright can we illuminate the long road of national rejuvenation.
