Pada bulan Ogos di Malaysia, jalur-jalur cemerlang dan lambang bunga raya yang berterbangan di jalanan saling melengkapi, sama seperti totem rohani yang tidak berkesudahan di tanah ini. Ketika 14 jalur merah dan putih bendera kebangsaan terbentang ditiup angin, masing-masing menulis epik kumpulan etnik yang pelbagai bergerak ke hadapan berganding bahu; dan bulan sabit emas yang bersinar dan bintang berbucu empat belas di tengah-tengah adalah seperti cahaya bintang yang dikumpulkan oleh pelbagai kumpulan etnik di bawah bimbingan kepercayaan dan cita-cita mereka. Bunga raya yang mekar di tengah-tengah lambang negara, dengan lima kelopak merah terangnya yang memegang bintang dan bulan, adalah tafsiran sempurna bagi semangat Malaysia. Bunga raya, bunga kebangsaan, boleh mekar dengan megah di bawah terik matahari dan tumbuh dengan gigih dalam hujan lebat, seperti negara yang terus maju walaupun dilanda ribut. Perkataan “Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu” (Perpaduan adalah Kekuatan) yang terukir di kelopaknya lebih memberi inspirasi dalam bulan Hari Kebangsaan ini – dari hutan hujan di Malaysia Timur hingga ke bandar-bandar di Malaysia Barat, dari cahaya pagi pelabuhan nelayan hingga senja di ladang kelapa sawit, pembina yang berbeza warna kulit menyirami rumah bersama mereka dengan peluh mereka. Apabila latar belakang biru bendera negara memantulkan langit yang cerah, apabila telinga emas pada lencana menghubungkan gunung, sungai dan daratan, setiap rakyat Malaysia menjadi penulis gambar yang tersergam indah ini. Marilah kita berakar di tanah subur dengan daya tahan bunga raya, menerangi jalan ke hadapan dengan kecemerlangan bintang dan bulan, dan menganyam hari esok yang lebih gemilang di garis bujur dan lintang perpaduan.

In August, the glorious stripes and hibiscus emblems flying in the streets of Malaysia complement each other, just like the spiritual totem of the endless life on this land. When the 14 red and white stripes of the national flag stretch in the wind, each one writes the epic of the multi-ethnic groups moving forward hand in hand; and the shining golden crescent and 14-pointed star in the center are just like the starlight gathered by the various ethnic groups under the guidance of faith and ideals. The blooming hibiscus in the center of the national emblem, with five bright red petals holding up the stars and the moon, is the perfect interpretation of the Malaysian spirit. As the national flower, the hibiscus can bloom proudly under the scorching sun and grow tenaciously in the rainstorm, just like the country that has experienced wind and rain and is still thriving. The “Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu” (Unity is Strength) engraved on the petals is even more deafening in the National Day month – from the rainforests of East Malaysia to the cities of West Malaysia, from the morning light of the fishing port to the dusk of the oil palm plantation, builders of different skin colors are watering their common home with sweat. When the blue background of the national flag reflects the clear sky, and when the golden ears of the badge connect the mountains and rivers, every Malaysian becomes the writer of this magnificent painting. Let us take root in the hot land with the resilience of the hibiscus, light up the road ahead with the brilliance of the stars and the moon, and weave a more glorious tomorrow on the longitude and latitude of unity.

八月的马来西亚，街头巷尾飘扬的辉煌条纹与芙蓉花徽章交相辉映，恰似这片土地上生生不息的精神图腾。当国旗的14道红白条纹在风中舒展，每一道都书写着多元族群携手前行的史诗；而中央闪耀的金色新月与十四芒星，正如各族群在信仰与理想指引下凝聚的星光。

国徽中央怒放的朱槿芙蓉，以五片鲜红花瓣托起星月，恰是马来西亚精神的完美诠释。作为国花的芙蓉，既能在烈日下傲然盛放，也能在暴雨中坚韧生长，正如历经风雨仍蓬勃发展的国度。花瓣上镌刻的”Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu”（团结就是力量），在国庆月更显振聋发聩——从东马的雨林到西马的都市，从渔港的晨曦到油棕园的暮色，不同肤色的建设者正以汗水浇灌共同的家园。

当国旗的蓝底映照着万里晴空，当徽章的金穗串联起山河大地，每个马来西亚人都成为这幅壮丽画卷的执笔者。让我们以芙蓉的韧性扎根热土，用星月的辉光点亮前路，在团结的经纬线上，织就更辉煌的明天。
