Trên đường phố Việt Nam vào tháng 9, lá cờ đỏ sao vàng tung bay như ngọn lửa trong gió, cùng với những bông hoa sen nở rộ trên các góc phố, tạo nên một bản anh hùng ca thầm lặng. Vào ngày kỷ niệm ngày Chủ tịch Hồ Chí Minh đọc Tuyên ngôn Độc lập, một lá cờ Tổ quốc phai màu và một chiếc bật lửa bằng đồng chạm khắc hình hoa sen nói lên sức mạnh sâu sắc nhất của dân tộc này. Ngôi sao vàng trên lá cờ tổ quốc là ngọn lửa không bao giờ tắt, ngọn lửa xanh nhảy múa trong chiếc bật lửa Hoa sen giống như ngọn đuốc của nền văn minh được truyền lại từ lòng bàn tay của tổ tiên chúng ta. Vào thời đó, quân du kích dùng bật lửa để đốt lửa hiệu sâu trong rừng, giúp lá cờ đỏ sao Kim tung bay trong làn khói lúc bình minh. Ngày nay, những người thợ trẻ đang khắc những chương mới trên họa tiết hoa sen, giúp lớp vỏ đồng giữ được sức nóng thiêu đốt của những năm chiến tranh, đồng thời tỏa ra ánh sáng đổi mới của thời kỳ hòa bình giữa lúc cánh sen nở và khép lại. Chiếc bật lửa này mang một ẩn dụ kép: hoa sen có rễ sâu trong bùn nhưng vẫn đứng vững và nở hoa, giống như Việt Nam vẫn giữ được bản sắc độc lập của mình bất chấp chiến tranh; Tia lửa từ đá lửa tuy nhỏ nhưng có thể thắp sáng ngọn đuốc soi sáng con đường phía trước. Khi ánh sáng ban mai của ngày kỷ niệm nhuộm đỏ lá cờ Tổ quốc, thế hệ mới xoay núm hình hoa sen để ngọn lửa nhảy múa chiếu sáng khuôn mặt họ – đó vừa là ngọn lửa tự do được tổ tiên gìn giữ bằng máu, vừa là ánh sáng hy vọng được con người đương đại hun đúc bằng trí tuệ của mình. Từ ngọn lửa yếu ớt truyền tải trí tuệ trong thời kỳ kháng chiến chống Pháp đến những sản phẩm do Việt Nam sản xuất hiện đang lan tỏa khắp thế giới, tia lửa này luôn được truyền lại trong một niềm tin trong sáng như hoa sen. Khi sao Kim và hoa sen cùng tỏa sáng trên bề mặt kim loại của chiếc bật lửa, mật mã về sự tái sinh của một quốc gia từ đống tro tàn đang được viết thành một chương mới của thời đại với sự nhấp nháy của mỗi ngọn lửa.

This lighter carries a double metaphor: the roots of the lotus are deeply rooted in the mud but stand upright and bloom, just as Vietnam has maintained its independent character after the war; the sparks from the flint are small, but they can ignite the torch that illuminates the way forward. When the dawn of the anniversary dyed the national flag red, the new generation turned the lotus-shaped knob to let the leaping flames illuminate their faces – it is not only the fire of freedom guarded by the blood of the ancestors, but also the light of hope forged by the wisdom of the contemporary people. From the faint flames that transmitted intelligence during the Anti-French War to the Vietnamese manufacturing all over the world today, this cluster of fire has always been passed down in the pure faith of the lotus. When Venus and the lotus shine on the metal surface of the lighter, the code of a nation’s rebirth from the ashes is being written into a new era chapter with the beating of each cluster of flames.
