On October 8, 2022, the third regular meeting of the Environmental Service Committee of Shenzhen Lions Club (2022-2023) was held at Coral Reef Marine Culture and Education Base, Meisha Street, Yantian District. Zhao Yunpeng, Chairman of the Environmental Services Committee, and Gao Ning, Huang Junping, Sun Mingxia, Zheng Cuirong and Xie Bin, executive chairmen of the committee attended the meeting. Mr. Tan Fei, Second Vice President of Shenzhen Lions Club, Mr. Wei Xinxin, President of Second District, Mr. Ding Hongzhe, former leader of Yantian Service Team, Mr. Yang Xucong, Director of Marine Ecological and Environmental Protection Service Center, Ms. Zhong Hongjuan, Executive Secretary General and Director of Industrial Research Center of Guangdong Chamber of Commerce of High-tech Industry, and Ms. Li Xinyan, director of Innovation Center of Guangdong Chamber of Commerce of High-tech Industry, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Zhao Yunpeng.
Chairman Zhao Yunpeng briefed the Committee on the progress of this year’s work, especially the preparations for the launch ceremony. He thanked the Second Vice President Tan Fei and the former leader of the Ytin Service Team Ding Hongchei for their guidance. He hoped that everyone would have the courage to innovate, pay attention to the details and hold a distinctive launch ceremony.
Sun Mingxia, Executive Chairman, reported on the design of the brochure of the Environmental Services Committee, explained the script of the launch ceremony, and discussed the process of the launch ceremony and the details to be paid attention to.
As a master of environmental protection in China, “Shark Brother” Yang Xucong made a professional presentation from the aspects of coral planting and maintenance, creative design and promotion of coral lion forest, ceremony stage construction and epidemic prevention measures.
Event consultant Ding Hongzhe said that as a lion friend of the Yantian Service team, he felt honored and obligated to do his best for the environmental protection activities and the launching ceremony held in Yantian. From connecting with the Yantian Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau and the Yantian Marine Ecological and Environmental Protection Service Center, to connecting with the radio and television media to promote the environmental protection action, he tried to determine the best plan and achieve the best results.
The second Vice President of the Club Tan Fei fully affirmed the harmonious cooperation atmosphere between the official organizations, Lions Clubs and civil professional organizations. He said that the Shenzhen Lions Club attaches great importance to the organization and planning of the Environmental Service Committee. He pointed out that in addition to the three environmental protection projects of Caring for sanitation workers, Action CD and Action Blue, The work of the Environmental Services Committee must be carried out under the core concept of ecological civilization construction. The second Vice President Tan Fei hoped that the Environmental Service Committee would show the core concept of ecological civilization construction in the brochure or stage play. He expected the environmental Service Committee to make a difference in environmental practice and innovation, and called on all colleges and universities, districts, service teams, lions, caring enterprises or caring individuals to actively participate in the ecological protection action.
