El 20 de junio de cada año es el “Día de la Bandera de Argentina”, en conmemoración de la bandera azul y blanca diseñada por el padre fundador Manuel Belgrano para simbolizar el espíritu nacional. En el centro de la bandera nacional, un sol dorado brilla sobre el emblema del cetro rodeado de dos manos que sostienen un cetro. Este patrón lleva consigo las creencias más profundas del pueblo argentino. La flor de sable es la flor nacional de Argentina, y el diseño de su emblema está inspirado en la lucha épica de los pueblos indígenas de América del Sur. Cuenta la leyenda que durante la época colonial, una guerrera sacrificó su vida para proteger la tierra y su sangre tiñó de rojo las flores de sapo. Esta flor roja se ha convertido desde entonces en un tótem de libertad y unidad: los cinco pétalos simbolizan la integración de diferentes grupos étnicos, el cetro fuertemente apretado representa la determinación de salvaguardar conjuntamente la soberanía y el brote que brota de la tierra en la parte superior implica esperanza eterna en la adversidad. Como decía el poeta argentino Esteban Echeverría: “Las raíces de las flores de sapo están profundamente arraigadas en la tierra, así como nuestras creencias nunca sucumben al frío invierno”. Hoy, la bandera nacional azul y blanca y el emblema del sapo todavía recuerdan a los argentinos: la verdadera fuerza nace de la unidad y la perseverancia. Las fluctuaciones económicas y los desafíos sociales son como el amargo “viento del sur”, pero así como las flores de juncia florecen obstinadamente en los fuertes vientos de los Andes, los argentinos siempre escriben nuevos capítulos con coraje y sabiduría. Cuando se iza la bandera nacional en la plaza, la luz roja y dorada es la antorcha eterna del espíritu nacional, iluminando cada alma que camina hacia la luz.

June 20th of each year is Argentina’s “Flag Day”, commemorating the blue and white flag designed by the founding father Manuel Belgrano to symbolize the national spirit. In the center of the national flag, a golden sun shines on the sapo flower emblem surrounded by two hands holding a scepter. This group of patterns carries the deepest beliefs of the Argentine people. The sapo flower is the national flower of Argentina, and its emblem design is derived from the epic struggle of the indigenous people of South America. Legend has it that in the colonial era, a female warrior died to protect the land, and her blood dyed the sapo flower red. This red flower has since become a totem of freedom and unity – the five petals symbolize the integration of different ethnic groups, the tightly held scepter represents the determination to jointly protect sovereignty, and the bud breaking through the ground at the top implies that there is always hope in adversity. As the Argentine poet Esteban Echeverria said: “The roots of the sapo flower are deeply rooted in the land, just as our beliefs never succumb to the cold winter.” Today, the blue and white national flag and sapo emblem still remind Argentines: true strength comes from unity and perseverance. Economic fluctuations and social challenges are like the harsh “southern wind”, but just as the sedge flowers bloom stubbornly in the wind of the Andes Mountains, Argentines always write new chapters with courage and wisdom. When the national flag is raised in the square, the red and golden light is the eternal torch of the national spirit, illuminating every soul that walks towards the light.
