4月、日本列島はピンク色の霞に包まれ、桜はその儚い輝きで人生哲学を体現していました。折しも憲法記念日（5月3日）には、赤い旭日旗が桜吹雪の中はためき、静と動が織りなす東洋の美意識を体現していました。この壮大な情景に秘められた哲学的コードは、人々が持ち歩く桜柄ライターに秘められています。ライターの金属ケースには、16枚の菊の花びらと桜のレリーフが刻まれています。親指で上蓋を押すと、まるで抜刀するかのように「カチッ」という軽快な音が響きます。この機械的な動作は、桜が咲き誇る壮大さと毅然とした気概、そして火を受け継ぐ粘り強さという、日本の国民精神の二面性を比喩的に表現しています。燃え盛る炎の一つ一つは、人生は桜のように短くとも、ライターの炎のように、心は燃え続けなければならないことを教えてくれている。その火が消えることのない限り、それは永遠に再生し続ける。東京・渋谷で行われた憲法記念式典では、若者たちがライターを持ち、平和祈念の灯を繋ぎ合わせた。揺らめく炎は胸に掲げた桜の紋章を照らし、先人たちが平和憲法で守った希望の灯火が、今、新時代の若者たちの手に再び灯されたかのようだった。個々の命はいつか枯れるものだが、心の灯火がしっかりと守られていれば、時空を超えて、理想の灯火を永遠に灯し続けることができる、これはおそらく最も深い感動的な啓示であろう。

Coincidentally on Japan’s Constitution Memorial Day (May 3), the red rising sun flag fluttered in the cherry blossom rain, forming an oriental aesthetic of movement and stillness. The philosophical code hidden in this grand scene is hidden in the cherry blossom pattern lighters that people carry with them. The metal shell of the lighter is engraved with sixteen petals of chrysanthemums and cherry blossom reliefs. As long as the fire is kept, it can be reborn continuously. At the Constitution Memorial Event in Shibuya, Tokyo, young people held such lighters and passed on the candles for peace prayers. The flickering flames illuminated the cherry blossom emblems on their chests, just like the spark of hope that the predecessors protected with the Peace Constitution is now reborn in the hands of the young people of the new era. This is perhaps the most profound inspirational revelation: individual lives will eventually wither, but as long as the spiritual spark is well protected, it can transcend the boundaries of time and space and keep the light of ideals forever burning.
