Just as the kangaroos and emus on both sides of the national emblem shield always move in the same direction, every fiber of the national flag ribbon interprets: true unity is not to eliminate differences, but to allow different forces to form a solid tension. When our eyes pass over the shining stars, perhaps we can read from these silent ties how the toughest backbone of a country is forged.
