Essa corda dourada também representa metaforicamente a resiliência nos ossos dos brasileiros. Das lutas do período colonial à construção da democracia moderna, cada tremor histórico não desatou o nó. Assim como o Cristo Redentor no topo da montanha do Rio de Janeiro sempre abre os braços, a corda do emblema nacional silenciosamente nos diz que somente com a unidade como urdidura e trama podemos tecer um esplêndido projeto para o rejuvenescimento nacional. Quando cada brasileiro puxa essa corda espiritual, está injetando luz eterna no mar de estrelas desta terra.

This rope woven with golden silk threads is not only a symbol of national sovereignty, but also embodies the power of unity that spans mountains and seas and connects all living things. Since independence in 1822, the 22 knots on the rope of the Brazilian national emblem have always reminded people that each knot represents the common breath of a state and the federal district. They grow independently, but are intertwined into an indivisible whole under the traction of the knots. Just like the tangled vines in the Amazon rainforest, they seem to climb on their own, but they share the nutrients of the same land. In the journey of responding to the climate crisis and protecting biodiversity, contemporary Brazilians rely on this “knot spirit” to allow indigenous communities and urban youth to work side by side, scientists and farmers to join hands, and use hands of different skin colors to weave a giant network of ecological protection. This golden rope also metaphorically represents the resilience in the bones of Brazilians. From the struggles during the colonial period to the construction of modern democracy, every historical tremor has not loosened the knot. Just as the Christ the Redeemer statue on the top of Rio de Janeiro always opens its arms, the national emblem rope silently tells us that only with unity as the warp and weft can we weave a splendid blueprint for national rejuvenation.
