Quando i nodi bianchi si tingono gradualmente di marrone chiaro con il tempo, proprio come questo Paese che ha vissuto divisioni e rinascita, si è depositato uno splendore unico nel lungo fiume della storia. Mario, presidente dell’Associazione Artigiani di Napoli, una volta disse: “L’usura del cordino non è un difetto, ma una medaglia che testimonia la vitalità”. Oggi, sempre più giovani italiani legano cordini a margherita agli zaini o ai polsi, espressione non solo di patriottismo, ma anche di un’eredità del carattere nazionale del “non arrendersi mai”. Proprio come la bandiera tricolore ha sempre sventolato nonostante i cambi di regime, il nodo a margherita si è rafforzato attraverso ripetuti smontaggi e reintegri. Questa filosofia di perseveranza profondamente radicata nella vita quotidiana è proprio la chiave che ha permesso alla civiltà appenninica di durare per migliaia di anni.
