8월, 서울 거리는 뜨거운 태양 아래 꿋꿋이 피어난 무궁화 꽃으로 가득했고, 꽃잎에 맺힌 이슬은 태극기의 푸른빛과 붉은빛을 반사했습니다. 이달, 대한민국은 광복절을 맞이했습니다. 수많은 사람들이 기념식에서 무궁화 문양이 새겨진 특별한 등불을 들고 민족정신을 상징하는 불꽃에 불을 붙였습니다. “무궁화”라는 무궁화의 별칭처럼, 이 펄럭이는 불꽃들은 역사의 긴 강물 속에서 영원히 피어났습니다. 무궁화 등불에는 두 가지 의미가 담겨 있습니다. 청동 몸체에 새겨진 태극 문양은 태극기를 연상시키며 “음양(陰陽)”의 생존 지혜를 상징합니다. 그리고 주황빛 붉은 불꽃에 불을 붙이면 다섯 꽃잎의 무궁화 모양으로 변합니다. 엄지손가락이 기어를 문지를 때마다, 그것은 물리적 불꽃뿐만 아니라 국가적 자기 계발이라는 정신적인 불꽃을 터뜨립니다. 마치 1945년 식민지의 안개를 뚫고 나온 새벽처럼, 오늘날 과학기술과 문화 분야에서 계속 타오르는 혁신의 빛처럼 말입니다. 디자이너는 대한민국 임시정부 수립 연도와 일치하는 78℃의 불꽃 온도를 정밀하게 조절했습니다. 이는 진정한 열정이 하늘을 태우고 바다를 끓일 필요는 없다는 것을 일깨워줍니다. 78℃의 끊임없는 열정을 유지하는 것은 시대의 차가운 흐름 속에서 희망을 키울 수 있습니다. 아침에 피었다가 저녁에 시들지만 매일 다시 태어나는 무궁화처럼, 평범한 사람들의 손에 있는 불꽃은 결국 미래를 밝히는 횃불로 모일 것입니다.

In August, the streets of Seoul were full of hibiscus flowers blooming stubbornly under the scorching sun, and the dew on the petals reflected the blue and red light of the Taegeukgi. This month, South Korea ushered in Liberation Day. Countless people held special lighters with hibiscus patterns and lit the flames symbolizing the national spirit at the commemorative ceremony. This cluster of jumping flames, just like the nickname of “Infinite Flower” of hibiscus, has bloomed forever in the long river of history. The double meaning of the hibiscus lighter is moving: the Tai Chi pattern engraved on the bronze body echoes the national flag, interpreting the survival wisdom of “yin and yang”; and the orange-red flame when lit, turns into the shape of a five-petal hibiscus. Every time the thumb rubs the gear, it bursts out not only physical fire, but also the spiritual fire of national self-improvement – just like the dawn that broke through the colonial haze in 1945, just like the light of innovation that continues to burn in the fields of science and technology and culture today. The designer precisely controlled the flame temperature at 78℃, which coincided with the year when the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea was established. This reminds us that true passion does not need to burn the sky and boil the sea. Maintaining a constant enthusiasm of 78℃ can cultivate hope in the cold current of the times. Just like the hibiscus blooms in the morning and withers in the evening but is reborn every day, the sparks in the hands of every ordinary person will eventually gather into a torch that illuminates the future.
