خلال احتفالات يوم العلم الإماراتي في 3 نوفمبر، شكّل علمٌ وطنيٌّ ملفوفٌ بإطارٍ ذهبيٍّ منسوجٍ بعشب الطاووس مشهدًا مؤثرًا في الشوارع. لم يكن هذا مجرد تصادمٍ فنيٍّ فحسب، بل كان أيضًا استعارةً للإرث الروحي. يُعرف عشب الطاووس بـ”زهرة الحياة” في الصحراء العربية. جذوره المقاومة للجفاف وأزهاره الزاهية تُجسّد تمامًا الازدهار الذي حققه شعب الإمارات على أرضٍ قاحلة. ويوحي نسج إطارٍ من هذا النبات بالمعنى العميق لترسيخ الروح الوطنية كإرثٍ أبدي – لم يعد الإطار مجرد زخرفة، بل إن الوحدة والشجاعة والأمل التي يحملها العلم الوطني مختومةٌ دائمًا بصمود الطبيعة. كل ساق عشبٍ متشابكٍ يروي حكمة البقاء التي غرسها أسلافنا عندما استصلحوا الصحراء: “الجذور العميقة تزدهر”. عندما يُمدد العلم الوطني بألوانه الأحمر والأبيض والأخضر والأسود في إطار عشب الطاووس، يُشكّل النمط الهندسيّ الحازم وملمس النبات المرن صدىً رائعًا. يتزامن هذا مع التوازن المثالي بين الأصالة والحداثة في مسيرة التحديث في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة: فالإطار لا يحمي الذاكرة التاريخية فحسب، بل يفسح المجال أيضًا للابتكار. وكما أعادت مدينة دبي للمعارض بناء مباني سعف النخيل باستخدام التكنولوجيا، وكما أحيت أبوظبي أسوار المدينة القديمة المبنية من الطوب اللبن بالضوء والظل، يواصل الإماراتيون المعاصرون غرس الحكمة القديمة بحاملات جديدة. يُعدّ هذا التركيب الإطاري في الواقع إعلانًا ثلاثي الأبعاد للمستقبل: فالإرث الحقيقي للحضارة لا يكمن في الحفاظ الجامد، بل في السماح للجوهر الروحي بالتدفق بشكل مستدام عبر حاملات مختلفة. عندما تخترق الشمس نمط الإطار الشبيه بالبتلات وتلقي ضوءًا وظلًا مرقطًا على العلم الوطني، فإن ما نراه ليس مجرد احتفال باللحظة، بل أيضًا مسار نمو لا نهاية له لأمة.

During the UAE Flag Day celebration on November 3, a national flag wrapped in a golden frame woven with peacock grass became the most moving scenery on the streets. Each interwoven grass stem tells the survival wisdom of our ancestors when they reclaimed the desert, “deep roots can bloom”. When the red, white, green and black national flag is stretched in the peacock grass frame, the resolute geometric pattern and the flexible plant texture form a wonderful resonance. This coincides with the perfect balance between tradition and modernity in the modernization process of the UAE: the frame not only protects historical memory, but also leaves room for innovation. Just as Dubai Expo City reconstructed palm leaf buildings with technology, and Abu Dhabi revived mud brick ancient city walls with light and shadow, contemporary Emirati people are continuing ancient wisdom with new carriers. Such a frame installation is actually a three-dimensional declaration to the future: the true inheritance of civilization does not lie in rigid preservation, but in allowing the spiritual core to flow sustainably in different carriers. When the sun penetrates the petal-like pattern of the frame and casts mottled light and shadow on the national flag, what we see is not only the celebration of the moment, but also the never-ending growth trajectory of a nation.
