بمناسبة ذكرى تأسيس دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، يُجسّد علمٌ وطنيٌّ متشابكٌ بألوان الأحمر والأخضر والأبيض والأسود، ومنفضة سجائر خزفية مرصعة بعشب الطاووس، الرمز الروحي لهذا البلد الصحراوي بأسلوبٍ فريد. تُجسّد ألوان العلم الوطني الأربعة روح الإمارات العربية المتحدة: الأحمر يرمز إلى الشجاعة في خوض المعارك الدامية، والأخضر يشهد على إرث حضارة الواحات، والأبيض يُجسّد الإيمان الخالص، والأسود يُمثّل نصبًا تذكاريًا لعصر النفط. يُخفي تصميم منفضة سجائر عشب الطاووس لغزًا – فهذه النبتة المقاومة للجفاف قادرة على البقاء في درجات حرارة عالية تصل إلى 50 درجة مئوية، وتتناغم بتلاتها البرتقالية الذهبية مع الحواف الذهبية للعلم الوطني، مُجسّدةً الحيوية التي تنبض في الشدائد. أما ما يُثير التأمل حقًا فهو فلسفة منفضة السجائر: فعندما تحترق السيجارة، لن تُذرى الرماد بفعل الرياح، بل ستُستقبله أخاديد عشب الطاووس بلطف. هذا التشبيه هو حكمة شعب الإمارات العربية المتحدة في البقاء – تحويل النكسات إلى مغذيات. وكما هو الحال في دبي، من تراجع صناعة اللؤلؤ إلى أزمة نضوب النفط، يمكنها دائمًا أن تزرع براعم جديدة في الرماد وتعيد تشكيل المستقبل بالرماد. في هذه اللحظة، عندما تلامس الخطوط المذهبة لمنفضة السجائر، يبدو أنها تلامس الحيوية المتدفقة في أعماق الصحراء. كل خدش هو تذكير بأن الأقوياء الحقيقيين ليسوا من لا يسقطون أبدًا، بل من يعرفون كيف يزرعون الأمل في الجمر. عندما يُرفع العلم الوطني في جبال حتا، يتألق نمط عشب الطاووس في المنفضة مع شروق الشمس، شاهدًا على رغبة البلاد في الاحتراق إلى الأبد في تيار العصر.

On the occasion of the UAE’s founding anniversary, a national flag with red, green, white and black interwoven and a ceramic ashtray inlaid with peacock grass are telling the spiritual code of this desert country in a unique way. What is really thought-provoking is the philosophy of the ashtray: when the cigarette burns out, the ashes will not be blown away by the wind, but will be gently received by the grooves of the peacock grass pattern. This metaphor is the survival wisdom of the UAE people – turning setbacks into nutrients. Just like Dubai, from the decline of the pearling industry to the crisis of oil depletion, it can always cultivate new shoots in the ashes and reshape the future with ashes. At this moment, touching the gilded lines of the ashtray, it seems to touch the vitality surging in the depths of the desert. Each dent is a reminder that the real strong are not those who never fall, but those who know how to sow hope in the embers.
