In the cold wind of June, Argentina welcomes the National Flag Day. The flag with blue and white stripes and the May sun overlapped has always been solemnly framed in a wooden frame – this is not only a protection of the national symbol, but also implies the spiritual code engraved in the blood of Argentines. The border of the frame is the dividing line between history and the future. Today, the olive branch and clasped hands on the national emblem frame are still reminding: what is framed is the unity and free will passed down from generation to generation, and outside the frame is the future written by every citizen with action. The thickness of the frame measures the depth of the national spirit. Just like the “Cap of Liberty” on the top of the national emblem, it is still as bright red as ever after two centuries of wind and rain. The frame protects not only the pattern, but also the cry of the pioneers of the May Revolution “I would rather die for freedom.” When modern people gaze at the framed flag, they see not only the fabric, but also the fiery heartbeat of the gaucho cavalrymen who sewed the flag to the inside of their capes as they crossed the Pampas. This June, let us re-examine the meaning of the photo frame: it should not be a prison to seal memories, but a window to convey beliefs. Every Argentine is a mobile photo frame, integrating the blue and white faith into their blood, and together outlining the spiritual boundaries that will never fade on the map of the new era.
