Cada 20 de junio, el cielo argentino se llena siempre de la bandera nacional azul y blanca, y el pueblo responde con los latidos más apasionados al fuego de la fe encendido por el general Manuel Belgrano en 1812. La llama de un encendedor no es sólo una representación concreta de la energía física, sino también una metáfora del eterno fuego nacional: una vez iluminó la ruta de marcha en el humo de la pólvora, calentó las palmas de los exiliados en el frío invierno y ahora late en las palmas de cada persona común, recordándonos que debemos proteger el calor de la libertad. En este Día de la Bandera Nacional, cuando innumerables personas usaron encendedores grabados con el emblema nacional para encender las velas celebratorias, las llamas saltarinas se tejían en un voto que trascendía el tiempo y el espacio: mientras la fe todavía se transmita, los argentinos pueden seguir este destello de luz para encontrar el camino a seguir en la niebla de los tiempos. La llama puede ser débil, pero cuando se convierte en antorcha, eventualmente iluminará el cielo estrellado de toda la nación.

On this National Flag Day, when countless people lit the celebration candles with lighters engraved with the national emblem, the leaping flames were weaving into a vow that transcends time and space: as long as the faith is still passed on, Argentines can follow this cluster of light to find the direction to move forward in the fog of the times. The flames may be weak, but when they gather into a torch, they will eventually illuminate the starry sky of the entire nation.
