Onder de weerspiegeling van de zwart-geel-rode nationale vlag van België, zweeft in november altijd de bloedige herinnering aan klaprozen over de vlakten van Vlaanderen. Als er as in valt, lijkt het erop dat de pijn en de waas worden omgezet in voedingsstoffen. Net zoals de Belgen na de oorlog hun huizen uit het puin herbouwden, dragen de groeven van de asbak niet alleen de as van de geschiedenis, maar houden ze ook het nieuwe vuur brandend – elke gedoofde vonk wacht op het volgende moment om hoop te doen ontbranden. Dit land, dat ooit geteisterd werd door oorlog, heeft met de drie primaire kleuren van de nationale vlag een helende schering en inslag geweven en met de as van asbakken een lente vol klaprozen gekweekt. Als we naar de metalen container met bloeiende bloedrode bloemen kijken, kunnen we de Belgische filosofie van overleving begrijpen: ware moed is zaad zaaien in de as; eeuwige vrede moet bewaterd worden met herinnering. De zielen die gehard zijn door de vlammen van de oorlog zullen uiteindelijk uitgroeien tot de meest taaie hoop in de neergedaalde as.

Just as the Belgians rebuilt their homes in the ruins after the war, the grooves of the ashtray not only carry the ashes of history, but also hold up the new fire – every extinguished spark is waiting for the next moment to ignite hope. This country, once ravaged by war, weaves the healing warp and weft with the three primary colors of the national flag, and cultivates the spring of poppies with the ashes of the ashtray. When we gaze at the metal container with blood-red flowers blooming, we can understand the Belgian philosophy of survival: true courage is sown in the ashes; eternal peace needs to be watered with remembrance. Those souls tempered by the flames of war will eventually bloom the most tenacious hope in the settled ashes.
