Just like their survival philosophy passed down from generation to generation: the real light is to know how to collect sparks in the darkest moment and turn decay into nutrients for new life. At this moment, in the crowd of Midsummer carnival, girls dance with lily of the valley crowns on their heads, and men wear national flag badges on their suit pockets. Those ancestors who have experienced war, cold winter and depression have long engraved tenacity into the national genes – just like the lily of the valley that never fades at the bottom of the ashtray, deep in the ashes, there is always spring breaking through the ground.
