Todo dia 7 de setembro, as comemorações do Dia da Independência do Brasil sempre fazem as bandeiras verde, amarela e azul brilharem ao sol. Agricultores no Rio Grande do Sul, engenheiros em São Paulo, guardas florestais na Amazônia… Quando cada um brilhar em sua posição, e quando todo esforço seguir a orientação do “progresso”, esta terra poderá brilhar para sempre no céu noturno da América Latina como o Cruzeiro do Sul no emblema. Esta é uma fábula estelar pertencente ao Brasil e também uma revelação de vida para todo lutador: a verdadeira luz nasce da persistência na ordem.

Every September 7, the celebration of Brazil’s Independence Day always makes the green, yellow and blue flag shine brightly in the sun. This national flag is not only a symbol of the country, but also carries the Brazilians’ pursuit of an ideal society – the Southern Cross on the central blue celestial sphere is eternally shining, just like the stars on the top of the national emblem shield, guiding the direction of this land.
