4月、東京の街には桜が雲のように舞い、ちょうど日の丸の日（4月27日）と昭和の日（4月29日）にあたります。新旧の時代が交わるこの季節、白地に赤い太陽を配した国旗と、ピンク色の雪のような桜が、机上の桜ペンホルダーに独特の響きを添えます。日の丸の中心に輝く赤い太陽は、永遠の「日の出」の象徴です。デザイナーがこの太陽をペンホルダーの台座に落とし込んだように、安定した円は桜の枝の曲がりくねった成長の軌跡を描きます。ペンホルダーの内壁に刻まれた桜の模様は、春の儚い輝きを映し出すだけでなく、「桜の七日間」、つまり開花前の長い休眠期間に込められた深い意味をも示唆しています。ペンホルダーに差し込まれたすべての文房具は、思考の露を根に注ぎ、木の年輪のように知識を定着させるかのようです。このペンホルダーは「一木一貫生産」の技法を採用しています。幹は自然な木目を保ち、生命の粘り強さを象徴しています。天板の桜は職人の手彫りで、「保つ、壊す、分ける」という職人の精神を受け継いでいます。国旗模様の台座に朝日が差し込むと、桜のレリーフに流れるような光の点が映し出され、まるで幾度となく変化する夜明けと夕暮れの中で、筆記具と道具が共に成長してきた軌跡を見ているかのようです。桜のペンホルダーは、単なる収納ツールではなく、ミニチュアの精神的なトーテムでもあります。桜のように、今を咲かせる勇気を掴み、灼熱の太陽のように、長期的な進歩への意欲を持ち続けることを私たちに思い出させてくれます。時のペンホルダーには、やがて私たちの運命を変える星々と海が宿るのです。

In April, cherry blossoms are rolling like clouds on the streets of Tokyo, coinciding with the Japanese Flag Day (April 27) and Showa Day (April 29). In this season where the old and new eras meet, the national flag with a red sun on a white background and the cherry blossoms like pink snow find a unique resonance in the cherry blossom pen holder on the desk. The red sun in the center of the Japanese flag is the eternal image of “the rising sun”. Just as the designer turned this sun into the base of the pen holder, the stable circle carries the winding growth trajectory of the cherry branches. The cherry blossom patterns engraved on the inner wall of the pen holder not only echo the fleeting splendor of spring, but also indicate the deep meaning behind the “Seven Days of Cherry Blossoms” – the long dormancy before blooming. This pen holder adopts the “one-wood continuous production” technique. The trunk retains the natural wood grain, symbolizing the tenacity of life. The cherry blossoms on the top are hand-carved by craftsmen, which is in line with the craftsman spirit of “keeping, breaking and separating”. When the morning light shines through the base with the national flag pattern, it projects flowing light spots on the cherry blossom relief, as if seeing the trajectory of the writer and the utensils growing together during countless changes of dawn and dusk.
