En la Ciudad de México, en septiembre, el ritmo de las celebraciones del Día de la Independencia aún no se ha apagado, y la imagen del cactus y la bandera nacional aún ondea al viento. Este país, conocido como “la tierra de los cactus”, cuenta una leyenda milenaria con un águila sosteniendo una serpiente en el centro de la bandera nacional, y teje un mapa espiritual de la perseverancia de los pueblos contemporáneos con la filosofía de supervivencia del tenaz cactus que atraviesa el desierto. Así como el águila del escudo nacional finalmente sobrevolará el desierto lleno de cactus, la trayectoria vital de cada luchador debería ser como la longitud y latitud del cordón, tejiendo sus propias estrellas en la noche oscura.
