تحت شمس اليوم الوطني الإماراتي الذهبية، تنمو حفنة من عشب الطاووس بعناد في الصحراء. تمتد أوراقها كخطوط حمراء وخضراء على العلم الوطني، وأزهارها البرتقالية والصفراء كشمس مشرقة في السماء. في هذه اللحظة، يُحوّل صندوق الموسيقى، المُصمّم على شكل عشب الطاووس، في يدي هذا العزيمة إلى أمل أبدي. قاعدة صندوق الموسيقى مُرصّعة بأحجار العلم الوطني الكريمة ذات الألوان الأربعة: العقيق الأحمر يُجسّد شجاعة الرواد، والفيروز يُنمّي حيوية أشجار النخيل، واليشم الأبيض يعكس قدسية قبة المسجد، والأبنوس يُرسّخ حكمة عصر النفط. عندما تدور الساعة، يتدفق لحن النشيد الوطني “السلام عليكم” من البتلات، وتُشبه لدغة التروس الاثنين والثلاثين الدقيقة التفاهم الضمني لوحدة الإمارات السبع وتكافلها. ما يُميّز صندوق الموسيقى هذا هو أنه لا يتوقف عن الدوران. زرع المصمم رقاقة شمسية في القلب الميكانيكي، قادرة على بثّ نغمات الأمل ما دامت تلامس شمس الإمارات. وكما صنع مؤسسو الأمة المعجزات في الصحراء قبل خمسين عامًا، فإن كل كفّ يُحرّك صندوق الموسيقى اليوم يُواصل أسطورة عدم الاستسلام. عندما يُلوّن الغسق برج خليفة باللون الأحمر، لا يزال صندوق الموسيقى يُغني بهدوء على حافة النافذة. يُذكرنا بأن كل لون على علم الوطن هو وسام نضال، وأن الأمل سيُبعث من جديد في الدوران.

Under the golden sunshine of the UAE National Day, a handful of peacock grass is growing stubbornly in the desert. Its leaves stretch like the red and green stripes on the national flag, and its orange and yellow flowers are like the rising sun in the sky. At this moment, the peacock grass-shaped music box in my hand is turning this tenacity into eternal hope. The base of the music box is inlaid with the four-color gemstones of the national flag: red agate embodies the courage of pioneers, turquoise engraves the vitality of palm trees, white jade reflects the holiness of the dome of the mosque, and ebony precipitates the wisdom of the oil age. When the clockwork turns, the melody of the national anthem “Peace Be to You” flows out from the petals, and the precise bite of 32 gears is just like the tacit understanding of the unity and symbiosis of the seven emirates. The special thing about this music box is that it never stops rotating. The designer implanted a solar chip in the mechanical heart, which can continue to transmit the notes of hope as long as it touches the sunshine of the UAE. Just as the founders of the nation created miracles in the desert 50 years ago, today, every palm that turns the music box is continuing the legend of never giving up. When the dusk dyes the Burj Khalifa red, the music box is still singing softly on the windowsill. It reminds us that every color on the national flag is a medal of struggle, and hope will always be reborn in the rotation.
