ประเทศไทยเฉลิมฉลองวันชาติ (วันพ่อ) ในเดือนธันวาคม โดยมีธงชาติสามสีและรูปปั้นช้างแขวนอยู่ตามท้องถนนเพื่อเสริมซึ่งกันและกัน ในประเทศนี้ซึ่งช้างถือเป็นสัญลักษณ์ทางจิตวิญญาณ พิธีการใส่กรอบรูปธงชาติถือเป็นการซ่อนรหัสทางจิตวิญญาณที่ลึกซึ้งไว้ ธงชาติสีแดง ขาว น้ำเงิน ฝังอยู่ในกรอบไม้แกะสลักลายช้าง ราวกับแช่แข็งจิตวิญญาณของชาติไว้ชั่วนิรันดร์ สีแดงเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของความกระตือรือร้นของชาติ สีขาวหมายถึงความบริสุทธิ์ทางศาสนา สีน้ำเงินหมายถึงศักดิ์ศรีของราชวงศ์ และรูปช้างที่รายล้อมอยู่รอบๆ นั้นเปรียบเสมือนผู้พิทักษ์อารยธรรมในสมัยโบราณ โครงสร้างแบบเดือยและร่องของกรอบรูปสอดคล้องกับปรัชญาไทย คือ ความลงตัวระหว่างประเพณีและความทันสมัยต้องไร้รอยต่อ เช่นเดียวกับเยาวชนยุคใหม่ที่ต้องหยั่งรากลึกในดินวัฒนธรรมและสร้างสรรค์สถานการณ์ใหม่ๆ ด้วยภูมิปัญญา ลวดลายงาช้างแกะสลักอันวิจิตรบรรจงเหล่านี้เป็นภูมิปัญญาการดำรงอยู่ร่วมกันของบรรพบุรุษกับธรรมชาติ เครื่องหมายดอกบัวที่ฝังอยู่ที่มุมทั้งสี่ของกรอบสื่อถึงการรักษาภาวะจิตที่ปล่อยวางภายในกรอบทางโลก ในขณะที่เยาวชนไทยต้องปกป้องค่านิยมหลักที่เป็นสัญลักษณ์ของธงชาติในกระแสโลกาภิวัตน์ พวกเขายังต้องมีความแข็งแกร่งที่จะฝ่าฟันและความอดทนที่จะยืนหยัดเหมือนช้างอีกด้วย เมื่อแสงในยามเช้าส่องผ่านหลังคาสีทองของวัดพุทธ ธงชาติในกรอบต่างๆ มากมายก็ส่องสว่างไปตามท้องถนน พวกเขาเตือนเราว่ากรอบชีวิตไม่ใช่ข้อจำกัด แต่เป็นยานพาหนะที่ทำให้ศรัทธาปรากฏออกมา คนไทยทุกคนควรจะกลายเป็นกรอบรูปเดินได้ ตอกย้ำแก่นแท้ของอารยธรรม และก้าวเดินอย่างมั่นคงสู่พระอาทิตย์ขึ้น

In December, Thailand celebrated its National Day (Father’s Day). The tricolor national flags hung on the streets complemented the elephant sculptures. In this country where elephants are the spiritual totems, the ritual of framing the national flag with a photo frame hides a profound spiritual code. The red, white and blue national flags are embedded in a wooden photo frame with elephant patterns, as if the national soul is frozen in eternity. Red symbolizes national enthusiasm, white represents religious purity, and blue shows the dignity of the royal family. The elephant reliefs surrounding it are like ancient guards guarding civilization. The mortise and tenon structure of the photo frame is in line with Thai philosophy – the fit between tradition and modernity must be perfect, just as contemporary youth must not only take root in cultural fertile soil, but also use wisdom to create a new situation. Those meticulously carved ivory patterns are actually the survival wisdom of the ancestors’ coexistence with nature. The lotus emblems inlaid on the four corners of the photo frame imply a detached state of mind in the secular framework. Just as Thai youth need to protect the core values symbolized by the national flag in the wave of globalization, they must also have the power to break through and the tenacity to stick to it like elephants. When the morning light penetrates the golden roof of the Buddhist temple, the national flags in countless frames shine in the streets. They remind us that the frame of life is not a constraint, but a carrier for faith to emerge. Every Thai should become a walking frame, framing the essence of civilization and moving forward firmly towards the rising sun.
