In October, when the King’s Birthday and the autumn rain intertwine, a red, white and blue national flag always flutters in the wind and rain. The former sticks to the foundation of the country in the wind and rain, while the latter transforms the burning ashes into silent philosophy: a truly powerful life can not only walk through the jungle with steady steps like a giant elephant, but also know how to keep a clear mind after the burning pain. This may be the secret of Thailand’s standing tall in the ups and downs of history – with the national flag’s tricolor as its soul and the elephant’s spirit as its bones, turning every burning into a spark that illuminates the way forward.
