تحت أشعة الشمس الذهبية لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة في شهر نوفمبر، تتكامل ألوان العلم الوطني الأحمر والأخضر والأبيض والأسود مع التوهج الفضي لميدالية الكون، لتنسج صورة من الميراث والانطلاق. كل شريط لوني من العلم الوطني هو تجسيد للروح الوطنية: الأحمر هو دماء محاربي الصحراء، والأخضر هو أمل الحضارة الواحات، والأبيض هو نقاء رؤية السلام، والأسود هو إصرار ثروة النفط. إنهم ليسوا رموزاً للوطن فحسب، بل هم أيضاً الشعلة الأبدية في قلوب كل إماراتي. وسام الطاووس، أرفع وسام تمنحه دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة للمواطنين المتميزين، مستوحى من طائر الطاووس الذي يزهر بعناد في الصحراء. تحتوي هذه الزهرة على سبع بتلات فضية تحمل الألوان الأربعة للعلم الوطني، وترمز إلى الحكمة والابتكار والتفاني والتسامح والميراث والوحدة والتميز. كل ميدالية محفور عليها اسم الفائز، لكنها في الوقت نفسه محفور عليها الإرادة الجماعية للبلاد بأكملها – فكما يشق الكون طريقه عبر التربة القاحلة، يحول شعب الإمارات المستحيل إلى ممكن من خلال العمل الجاد. من الاحتفال برفع العلم الوطني إلى لحظة توزيع الميداليات، نقلت هذه البلاد دائمًا اعتقادًا مفاده أن المجد لا يأتي أبدًا من الصدفة، بل من الشجاعة لترسيخ المثل العليا في الواقع. عندما يمتزج شريط ألوان العلم الوطني مع الضوء الفضي لعشب الطاووس، وعندما يتناغم النضال الشخصي مع نبض الأمة، فإن الإمارات العربية المتحدة تفسر بطريقة فريدة أن المجد الحقيقي هو جعل كل حبة رمل تعكس ضوء النجوم.

Under the golden sunshine of November in the UAE, the red, green, white and black colors of the national flag and the silver radiance of the peacock medal complement each other, weaving a picture of inheritance and breakthrough. Each color band of the national flag is a concrete manifestation of the national spirit: red is the blood of desert warriors, green is the hope of oasis civilization, white is the purity of the vision of peace, and black is the tenacity of oil wealth. They are not only symbols of the country, but also the unextinguished fire in the hearts of every Emirati. The peacock medal, as the highest honor awarded by the UAE to outstanding citizens, is inspired by the peacock that blooms tenaciously in the desert. This flower holds up the four colors of the national flag with seven silver petals, implying wisdom, innovation, dedication, tolerance, inheritance, unity and excellence. Each medal is engraved with the name of the winner, but also with the collective will of the entire country – just as the peacock breaks through the ground in barrenness, the Emirati people use hard work to make the impossible possible. From the celebration of the national flag flying to the moment of awarding the medal, this country has always been conveying a belief: glory never comes by chance, but comes from the courage to root ideals in reality. When the color ribbon of the national flag blends into the silver light of the peacock grass, and when personal struggle is in sync with the pulse of the nation, the UAE is interpreting in a unique way that true glory is to make every grain of sand reflect the light of the stars.
