On September 24, 2021, the inaugural ceremony of the 2021-2022 Replacement of the Main Road Service Team of Lions Club of Shenzhen, China was held in the Banquet Hall on the 9th floor of Meilan Hotel, Bao ‘an District. Peng Daojian, the first Vice President, Nie Xiangdong, the second Vice president, Shi Jianyong, the former president, Deng Yi, the deputy chief supervisor, Li Li, the deputy Secretary general, Wu Jinzhi, Fan Guangyu, Lian Chuhai, the chairmen of the zone, District Chairmen Qian Lin, Tang Xuanyong, Yu Xiaoping, Yan Weimin, Zhang Wei, Guo Liang, Wan Xiaoyun, Zhu Hongwei, Cao Meixiu, Jin Qian, Chen Gang, Wen Zhiyong, Zheng Bochao, Wu Manqiong, Lu Guiqin, Secretary General of the Board of Supervisors Zhou Zhihui, supervisors Wu Zhijian, Huang Shaofang, Zhang Zheqin, Zhu Feng, Zhengdao Service Team Lion Friends, representatives of each service team Lion Friends and guests, more than 300 people attended the ceremony. The ceremony was chaired by Ms Ho Yajun and presided over by Ms Chu Wenwen and Ms Fang Shilei.
The inauguration ceremony began with the poem reciting “The Motherland, my dear Motherland” by Zhu Wenwen and Chen Chuyuan, the little lion. Then, Liang Yuhui, Xie Haomin, Liu Peiyan and Zhang Zhihui, the four lion friends as flag-bearers, led the main Road Service team Lion friends into the arena. In the song “Me and My Motherland” led by the blind couple, the main Road service team Lion Friends took the stage to show their style.
The Chairman of the conference rang the bell and introduced the guests to make welcoming remarks.
Chen Gang, the last leader of the team, made an annual summary. He reviewed the lions work of the last year and expressed his gratitude to all the leaders and Lions for their support in the past year. He said that one year as a captain has made him grow and move, and he has learned tolerance and understanding. He hoped that under the leadership of the new team members, the Zhengdao Service Team would practice the “Four Out” spirit and contribute to the public welfare cause of the Shenzhen Lions Club of China.
Liu Peiyan made the financial report of last year, detailed the financial revenue and expenditure of Zhengdao Service team in the past year, so as to make the financial data open and transparent.
Subsequently, Zhengdao Service team awarded the Best companion Award, Excellent Team Award, Excellent Member Award, Outstanding New talent Award and other awards for the past year’s active efforts. It also awarded the Charity Award for Four Shijiu Square Eagle Branch, Helin Electronics (Shenzhen, China) Co., LTD., Jiangxi Ren and China Medicine Co., LTD., and played the blessing video recorded by nine former captains.
After the commendation, all the lion friends of the Zhengdao service team came to the stage to send blessings to the last captain Chen Gang.
Under the witness of the leading lion friends, the last captain Chen Gang handed over the ribbon and bell hammer to Captain Zhang Aiming. Ribbon is a symbol of beauty, is a responsibility and glory; The bell hammer means a promise, but also a brave responsibility. In the past year, under the leadership of the last captain Chen Gang, Zhengdao service team unity, strong growth; Next, I hope the Zhengdao service team will continue to create brilliance under the leadership of Captain Zhang Aiming.
Captain Chang Aiming made the annual work plan. She introduced the guiding ideology, service activities, training plan, Lions care activities and team structure of the team leader, etc. She said that the team has made continuous progress since its establishment nine years ago, and hoped that in the 10th year, all the lions work would be improved in an all-round way. Constantly improve the standardization of lions management and financial standards, openness and transparency.
Afterwards, the team members of the Zhengdao Service team appeared together and read the inauguration pledge. Captain Zhang Aiming issued the certificate of appointment for the team members.

The first Vice President Peng Daojian fully affirmed the efforts and achievements made by the Zhengdao Service Team in the past year under the leadership of the last captain Chen Gang. He also praised Captain Chang Aiming as not only an excellent member of the Lions Club, but also an excellent leader in the future. He is full of expectations for the future of Zhengdao.
Ms. Zhu introduced the “Dream Angel Action” service project, which is a public welfare project aimed at helping children with special needs in response to the call of the District Association and based in Shenzhen, China. Then she introduced the origin and significance of this service project. She invited special children Yang Zizan and his mother Huang Xia to perform the sand painting “Children of the Stars” on stage. At the site of the change of leadership, this project was strongly supported by the leaders of the Lion friends, and the site raised a total of 648,804 yuan of special service funds.
In his speech of appreciation, Executive Chairman Tang Chun-jie expressed his gratitude to the leaders of the Lions for their great support, and also thanked the family members who silently support the Lions for their continuous efforts in the public welfare cause. He hoped that the Lions of the True Way Service Team would continue to forge ahead and walk out of the unique road of love for the Lions of the True Way Service Team. Captain Chang led the new team members on stage to toast.
In the future, the good road peers, the right way to love friends, the right way for a hundred years, start from me.
