On September 18, 2022, the first regular meeting of Shenzhen Lions Stamp Club 2022-2023 was held at Green View NEO Building, Chegongmiao, Futian District. Mr. Nie Xiangdong, the first Vice President of Shenzhen Lions Club of China; Mr. Tian Xingxing, the former President; Mr. Huang Shaofang, Chairman of Zone 1; Mr. Li Li and Mr. Li Xiaofeng, Supervisors; Mr. Wu Yuqiong, President of Philatelic Club of China; Mr. Zhu Qingqing, Executive Chairman; Mr. Zhang Yushan, Director General of Luohu Bureau of China Post Group; Mr. Huang Lixin, Special Lecturer of China Philatelic Corporation and lecturer of Shenzhen Philatelic Association of China; The meeting was attended by 30 philatelic club members, guests and philatelists, including Mr. Liang Xiaoqing from Lo Wu Post Office. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Jian.
Before the meeting, the participants sent happy wishes for the birthday of MDM Fu Wenqiang.
At the meeting, Sun Xiaowei, president of Stamp Club of 2020-2021, reviewed the work of 2020-2021, and Chen Xin reported the financial situation of 2020-2021. Mr. Tong Xinshi, Vice President of China Lions Association Stamp Club, introduced the status quo and future development of stamp club of China Lions Association. President Wu explained in detail the work programme of the Philatelic Club this year.
Nie Xiangdong, the first Vice president of the Club, and Tian Xingxing, the former president of the club, delivered important speeches and pointed out the direction of the club’s future work.
Mr. Huang Lixin, special lecturer of China Philatelic Corporation and lecturer of Shenzhen Philatelic Association of China, brought a wonderful cultural feast “Black Cat and Blue Rabbit” to guide the lion friends to explore the profound knowledge behind stamps, appreciate the unique charm of the four world, so that the lion friends to broaden their vision, cultivate sentiments.
On behalf of the Philately Club, President Wu Yuk-qiong thanked the experts of Philately Corporation for their expertise and all the Lions and guests who attended the event. It is rare to meet together, but it is not easy for public welfare. She hoped that by using post as a medium, we could spread the Lion culture, promote the common development of philately and charity, and promote the work of Philately Club to a new level!
