April is the season when cherry blossoms bloom in Japan. Among the pink petals, there are two powerful images – the red sun of the Hinomaru and the vermilion rope wrapped around the cherry branches. The “Hinomaru” on the national flag is not only a thousand-year-old totem of the Kingdom of Dawn, but also an eternal symbol of vitality. These seemingly restraining ropes actually make the tree full of flowers with their flexible posture. Today, cherry blossom lanyards have evolved into a token of blessing, reminding us that true growth is not about fighting alone, but about learning to support each other with partners. When everyone’s beliefs are intertwined like silk threads, they can weave the power of facing the sun. The seven days of cherry blossoms are short-lived but bloom year after year; the thousands of knots seem fragile but support the entire spring.
