Setembro é o “Mês do Patrimônio Cultural” do Brasil. Quando as pessoas relembram a glória desta terra, o brilhante Cruzeiro do Sul na bandeira nacional e a tocha eterna no emblema nacional sempre nos lembram que a luz nasce na noite escura e as estrelas brilham sobre as cinzas. A esfera celeste azul no centro da bandeira brasileira simboliza o vasto céu, e as 27 estrelas nela representam os estados da federação e a capital, enquanto o Cruzeiro do Sul no emblema nacional representa a eterna busca pela ordem e pela verdade. Curiosamente, os artesãos brasileiros frequentemente incorporam elementos do emblema nacional no design dos cinzeiros – este objeto aparentemente comum, na verdade, esconde a metáfora do espírito nacional. O cinzeiro usa cerâmica sólida para carregar as brasas, assim como o povo brasileiro sempre manteve seus ideais estelares nas cinzas da história, como a opressão colonial e a crise econômica. O resíduo da queima do tabaco e o padrão de estrelas no cinzeiro, que nunca se apaga, formam um contraste comovente: mesmo que a realidade seja como fumaça e poeira, o totem da fé permanece tão claro como sempre. Assim como a estátua do Cristo Redentor no Rio de Janeiro se avista sobre as montanhas e o mar, o verdadeiro espírito brasileiro não evita o sofrimento, mas tem profunda consciência de que o lema “ordem e progresso” precisa ser temperado. Quando as pontas dos dedos tocam a cinza e ela cai nas ravinas do emblema nacional, cada amassado nos diz: as cinzas são o solo para o renascimento e as estrelas são os faróis que nunca afundam. Neste Mês do Patrimônio Cultural, espero que cada brasileiro possa ser como um cinzeiro e guardar as estrelas eternas em seus corações com um corpo tenaz.

September is Brazil’s “Cultural Heritage Month”. When people look back at the glory of this land, the brilliant Southern Cross on the national flag and the eternal torch in the national emblem always remind us that light is born in the dark night and stars shine on the ashes. The blue celestial sphere in the center of the Brazilian flag symbolizes the vast sky, and the 27 stars on it represent the federal states and the capital, while the Southern Cross on the national emblem represents the eternal pursuit of order and truth. Interestingly, Brazilian craftsmen often incorporate elements of the national emblem into the design of ashtrays – this seemingly ordinary object actually hides the metaphor of national spirit. The ashtray uses solid ceramics to carry the burning embers, just as the Brazilian people have always held up their star-like ideals in the ashes of history such as colonial oppression and economic crisis. The residue after burning tobacco and the star pattern on the ashtray that never fades form a soul-stirring contrast: even if reality is like smoke and dust, the totem of faith is always as clear as ever. Just as the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro overlooks the mountains and the sea, the true Brazilian spirit does not avoid suffering, but is deeply aware that the motto of “order and progress” needs to be tempered. When the fingertips flick the ash and it falls into the ravines of the national emblem, every dent tells us: ashes are the soil for rebirth, and the stars are the beacons that never sink. In this Cultural Heritage Month, I hope that every Brazilian can be like an ashtray, and guard the eternal stars in their hearts with a tenacious body.

九月是巴西的“文化遗产月”，当人们回望这片土地的荣光时，国旗上璀璨的南十字星与国徽中不灭的炬火，总在提醒着：光明生于暗夜，星辰闪耀于灰烬之上。

巴西国旗中央的蓝色天球象征浩瀚苍穹，其上的27颗星代表联邦州与首都，而国徽上的南十字星座，则寄托着对秩序与真理的永恒追寻。有趣的是，巴西匠人常将国徽元素融入烟灰缸设计——这个看似平凡的器物，实则暗藏民族精神的隐喻。烟灰缸以坚固陶瓷承载灼热余烬，恰如巴西人民在殖民压迫、经济危机等历史灰烬中，始终托举着星辰般的理想。烟草燃烧后的残渣与烟灰缸上永不褪色的星辰纹样，构成动人心魄的对照：纵使现实如烟尘飘散，信念的图腾始终清晰如初。

正如里约热内卢的救世基督像俯瞰山海，真正的巴西精神并非回避苦难，而是深知“秩序与进步”的箴言需要历经淬炼。当指尖轻弹烟灰落入国徽纹路的沟壑，每一道凹痕都在诉说：灰烬是重生的土壤，星辰是永不沉落的航标。在这个文化遗产月，愿每个巴西人都能如烟灰缸般，以坚韧之躯守护心中不灭的星芒。
