Este material de escritório aparentemente comum, na verdade, esconde o mecanismo de despertar dos genes culturais: a inscrição “Ordem e Progresso” na fita com o emblema nacional gravada na parte inferior do porta-canetas lembra o usuário cada vez que ele toca na caneta – assim como os revolucionários em 1889 assinaram a “Declaração da República” com uma pena, a caneta de assinatura nas mãos dos construtores contemporâneos também carrega a missão de herança da civilização. Os aglomerados estelares ao redor do porta-canetas não são apenas um olhar para a história, mas também uma medida do futuro. Na onda da digitalização, este artefato carregado de símbolos tradicionais está se tornando uma ponte que conecta o totem espiritual dos brasileiros com as lutas modernas.
