A giugno, le celebrazioni per la Festa della Repubblica Italiana (2 giugno) erano ancora in corso nella Penisola Appenninica. Le bandiere nazionali verde, bianca e rossa che sventolavano per le strade e i cordini di margherite al petto delle persone intrecciavano il codice spirituale di questo Paese. Il verde della bandiera nazionale simboleggia la vitalità degli Appennini, il bianco la purezza delle cime innevate delle Alpi e il rosso condensa il sangue versato per la libertà. Nelle antiche botteghe toscane, gli artigiani seguono ancora la tradizione dell’intreccio dei “sette fili dello stesso cuore”: i sette steli di margherita devono mantenere la stessa umidità e intrecciarsi con un ritmo perfettamente sincronizzato per creare una corda indistruttibile. È proprio come la regola di sopravvivenza della società moderna: quando la fragilità degli individui entra in risonanza con la forza della collettività, anche i materiali ordinari possono essere temprati fino a raggiungere una straordinaria resistenza. Quando il cordino di margherita sventola insieme alla bandiera nazionale, ci ricorda che ogni battuta d’arresto nella vita è uno stelo da intrecciare. Finché manterremo la fede nell’unità e la pazienza di perseverare, alla fine formeremo una corda che porta speranza nella tempra del tempo.
