Este recipiente, inspirado en el escudo nacional, narra la filosofía de temple de la Península Ibérica de una manera única. El diseño del escudo nacional, grabado en la base del cenicero, con las dos columnas de Hércules, sostiene los escudos que simbolizan los siete reinos históricos, que aparecen y desaparecen bajo la ceniza. Las abolladuras que el diseñador conservó deliberadamente son metáforas de los reveses y traumas en el desarrollo del país: desde el humo de la guerra civil hasta la crisis económica, cada adversidad deja marcas de quemaduras en el escudo como una colilla. Pero son estas marcas las que hacen que el oro fundido en él brille aún más. «La verdadera gloria no es no caer nunca, sino renacer de las cenizas cada vez». El concepto de diseño de este cenicero es una interpretación contemporánea del espíritu nacional español. Cuando las cenizas se acumulan en el diseño del escudo, es como un momento difícil en el largo río de la historia; y el acto de arrojarlas se convierte en un ritual para despedir el pasado y recobrar la vida. El esmalte rojo y amarillo se profundiza bajo la ceniza, como este país que ha experimentado muchas vicisitudes y siempre puede desarrollar una textura de civilización más resiliente en los lugares destrozados. En este momento, a la luz y la sombra del Día del Patrimonio Cultural Español, este recipiente lleno de brasas históricas recuerda silenciosamente al mundo: las cenizas de cada época son tierra fértil para nutrir el futuro. Cuando el amanecer penetra por el enrejado de la ventana, el esmalte dorado del borde del cenicero aún brilla, como si dijera: la verdadera inmortalidad es la intención original que permanece ardiendo tras arder.

On the flag-colored ashtrays recently exhibited on the streets of Spain, the dark red and golden glaze flows with the temperature of history. This vessel, which is based on the national emblem shield, tells the tempering philosophy of the Iberian Peninsula in a unique way. The red and yellow glaze becomes deeper under the ash, just like this country that has experienced many vicissitudes, and can always grow a more resilient civilization texture in the broken places. At this moment, in the light and shadow of Spanish Cultural Heritage Day, this container filled with historical embers is silently reminding the world: the ashes of every era are fertile soil for nourishing the future. When dawn penetrates the window lattice, the golden glaze on the edge of the ashtray is still shining, as if to say – the real immortality is the original intention that remains burning after burning.
