In april brouwen de Nederlandse vlaggen en miljoenen tulpen ter ere van Koningsdag een lentefeest. Wanneer de driekleurige vlag de bloemenvelden langs het kanaal raakt, gebruikt dit land, bekend als het “Lage Land”, rood-wit-blauwe frames om de pracht van oranje tulpen te ondersteunen en een eeuwige fabel over vitaliteit te vertellen. De rood-wit-blauwe kleuren van de Nederlandse vlag vormen niet alleen de omtrek van de dam die de vloed moet weerstaan, maar ook het raamwerk dat de nationale geest ondersteunt. Het rode bloed stroomt van de moed om de zee te verruimen en land te bouwen, de witte wolken bezinken de rationele en pragmatische geest, en de blauwe golven beroeren de genen van navigatie-innovatie – het onzichtbare raamwerk, bestaande uit drie kleuren, heeft altijd het coördinatensysteem van de ontwikkeling van dit land gedefinieerd. Bloemenkwekers zijn zich terdege bewust van de wijsheid van fotolijsten: nauwkeurige beplantingsroosters vormen geen beperkingen, maar zorgen ervoor dat elke tulp rechtop kan staan in het steunsysteem en de individuele waarde in collectieve bloei kan maximaliseren. Hebben we in de wereld van vandaag niet zo’n overlevingsfilosofie nodig? Net zoals de Nederlandse schilder Vermeer een fotolijst gebruikte om de eeuwigheid van het licht te bevriezen, moet iedereen zijn eigen spirituele coördinaten vinden in de vloed van de tijd. Die schijnbaar beperkende regels en kaders zijn in feite prisma’s die de levensbloem in staat stellen energie te focussen. Wanneer individuele kenmerken en collectieve wijsheid resoneren in een geordend systeem, kan ook het gewone leven uitbarsten in het heldere licht van tulpen.

And the tulips that break out of the ground at this time every year are like miracles growing in the frame. These bulbs, once regarded as treasures by the Ottoman Empire, have transformed into rainbow flower carpets that spread across the sky in the drainage system and greenhouse frames built by the Dutch. Flower growers are well aware of the wisdom of photo frames: precise planting grids are not constraints, but allow each tulip to stand upright in the support system and maximize individual value in collective bloom. In today’s world, don’t we need such a philosophy of survival? Just as the Dutch painter Vermeer used a picture frame to freeze the eternity of light, everyone needs to establish their own spiritual coordinates in the tide of the times. Those seemingly restrictive rules and frameworks are actually prisms that allow the flower of life to focus energy. When individual characteristics and collective wisdom resonate in an orderly system, ordinary life can also burst out with the bright light of tulips.
