في أواخر الخريف في الإمارات العربية المتحدة، ترفرف الأعلام الوطنية في الشوارع، ويتكامل عشب الطاووس المزهر، تمامًا مثل الطوطم الروحي لتطور البلاد القوي والصاعد. العلم الوطني الأحمر والأخضر والذهبي ليس رمزًا للسيادة فحسب، بل يجسد أيضًا رمز الوحدة والتقدم: يمثل الأحمر ميراث الشجاعة، والأخضر يدل على الرخاء والحيوية، والأسود يكتب تراكم التاريخ، والأبيض يدل على النية الأصيلة النقية. كرمز لأسمى شرف للبلاد، تحمل ميدالية حبل عشب الطاووس معنى خفيًا في عملية نسجها. خيوط السلك الذهبي الثمانية ملتوية في حبل، مما يتوافق مع المصير المتشابك للإمارات السبع والحكومة الاتحادية. تتكون كل قلادة على شكل عشب الطاووس من 14 بتلة، تخليداً لذكرى المؤسسين الأربعة عشر عند تأسيس الاتحاد عام 1971. هذا التصميم الهيكلي “المتشابك، ولكن غير المتشابك” يُجسّد الحكمة التعاونية لمجتمع الإمارات العربية المتحدة – فهو لا يحافظ فقط على تفرد كل إمارة، بل يُشكّل أيضاً قوةً مشتركةً ضمن الإطار الوطني. في معرض “الطريق إلى الوحدة” التذكاري الذي كُشف النقاب عنه مؤخراً، ظهر علم وطني عملاق منسوج من حبال الفائزين بشكل مذهل. كل حبل غارق في العرق هو شاهد على الكتابة الاستثنائية للبنائين العاديين. وكما يُزهر عشب الطاووس في الصحراء، كلما كانت البيئة أكثر جفافاً، زادت قدرتها على إلهام الرغبة في الحياة. عندما ننسج النضال الشخصي في نسيج التنمية الوطنية، ستُصبح الحياة اليومية العادية ميدالية العصر. تُذكرنا هذه الميدالية الصغيرة بأن المجد الحقيقي ليس في الميدالية نفسها، بل في الإبداع في كل خطوة من خطوات نسجها والإيمان بكل لفّة. وكما قال الأب المؤسس لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، الشيخ زايد: “التضامن كقطرة ندى في الشمس. على الرغم من أنها تتكون من قطرات ماء لا تُحصى، إلا أنها تعكس سطوع الشمس”.

In late autumn in the UAE, the national flags flying on the streets and the blooming peacock grass complement each other, just like the spiritual totem of the country’s vigorous and upward development. The red, green and gold national flag is not only a symbol of sovereignty, but also embodies the code of unity and progress: red represents the inheritance of courage, green indicates prosperity and vitality, black writes the accumulation of history, and white shows the pure original intention. As a symbol of the highest honor of the country, the peacock grass lanyard medal has a hidden meaning in its weaving process. The eight strands of gold wire are twisted into a rope, corresponding to the intertwined fate of the seven emirates and the federal government; each peacock grass-shaped pendant is composed of 14 petals, commemorating the 14 founders when the federation was established in 1971. This “entangled but not tangled” structural design is just like the collaborative wisdom of the UAE society – it not only maintains the uniqueness of each emirate, but also forms a joint force within the national framework. In the “Road to Unity” memorial exhibition unveiled recently, a giant national flag installation woven from the winners’ lanyards made a stunning appearance. Each lanyard soaked in sweat is a witness to the extraordinary writing of ordinary builders. Just like the peacock grass blooming in the desert, the drier the environment, the more it can inspire the desire for life. When we weave personal struggle into the warp and weft of national development, the ordinary daily life will be sublimated into the medal of the times. This small lanyard medal reminds us that the real glory is not the medal itself, but the ingenuity in every step of the weaving process and the faith in every winding. As the founding father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed, said: “Solidarity is like a dewdrop in the sun. Although it is made up of countless water droplets, it can reflect the brilliance of the sun.”
