تحت شمس اليوم الوطني الإماراتي الذهبية، ترفرف الأعلام الوطنية الحمراء والخضراء والبيضاء والسوداء في الريح، كنبض هذه الأرض. يزهر عشب الطاووس بهدوء في الشوارع والأزقة، انعكاسًا لحيوية العلم الوطني بلونيه البرتقالي والأصفر الزاهيين، وينسج قوةً ملهمة مع صناديق الموسيقى المصنوعة من عشب الطاووس التي تُتداول بين الناس. يُطلق على عشب الطاووس اسم “الزهرة الخالدة”، وينمو بثبات في رمال وحصى الإمارات، تمامًا كأسطورة هذا البلد المنبعث من الصحراء. تدور منحوتات عشب الطاووس في صندوق الموسيقى ببطء على أنغام “نشيد الوحدة”، وكل دائرة تحكي مسار الكفاح – عضّ التروس يرمز إلى تعاون مختلف المجموعات العرقية، وشدّة الساعة تُشبه صمودًا في مواجهة الصعوبات، وعندما تتدفق الموسيقى النابضة بالحياة، يكون ذلك أروع انتصار على “المستحيل”. يحمل تصميم صندوق الموسيقى هذا معنىً عميقاً: نقش العلم الوطني محفور على القاعدة، مذكّراً الناس بأن المجد ينبع من حماية التقاليد؛ بينما يُوحي عشب الطاووس المزهر في الأعلى بأن الابتكار يتطلب شجاعةً لشقّ الأرض كالأزهار. عندما تُصدح الموسيقى، يمتزج الرمل والنجوم، والتاريخ والمستقبل في اللحن، تماماً كما استغلت الإمارات العربية المتحدة أكثر من 50 عاماً لتحويل الفقر إلى رخاء. اليوم، كل إماراتي يحمل صندوق موسيقى يعزف موسيقاه الخاصة. تحت راية شهر اليوم الوطني، لا يزال عشب الطاووس ينمو نحو الشمس الحارقة، والنغمات التي لا تنتهي في الصندوق تدعو الجيل الجديد إلى مواصلة كتابة عقيدة “تحويل الصحراء إلى واحة”. هذه هي القصيدة الأكثر إلهاماً وعاطفةً المُهداة إلى الأرض.

Under the golden sunshine of the UAE National Day, the red, green, white and black national flags are stretched in the wind, like the beating pulse of this land. The peacock grass quietly blooming in the streets and alleys echoes the vitality of the national flag with its bright orange and yellow color, and weaves an inspiring force together with the peacock grass music boxes passed in people’s hands. Peacock grass is called the “eternal flower” and grows tenaciously in the sand and gravel of the UAE, just like the legend of this country rising from the desert. The peacock grass carvings rotating in the music box slowly turn with the melody of “Ode to Unity”, and each circle tells the trajectory of struggle – the bite of the gears symbolizes the cooperation of different ethnic groups, the tension of the clockwork is like the resilience of breaking through difficulties, and when the crisp music flows, it is the most elegant conquest of “impossible”. The design of this music box has a deep meaning: the national flag pattern is engraved on the base, reminding people that glory comes from the protection of tradition; the peacock grass blooming on the top implies that innovation needs the courage to break through the ground like flowers. When the music sounds, sand and stars, history and future blend in the melody, just as the UAE has used more than 50 years to transform poverty into prosperity. Today, every Emirati holding a music box is playing his own music. Under the flag of the National Day month, the peacock grass is still growing towards the scorching sun, and the never-ending notes in the box are calling on the new generation to continue writing the belief of “turning the desert into an oasis”. This is the most affectionate inspirational poem dedicated to the land.
