في شوارع وأزقة شهر اليوم الوطني لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، يتكامل العلم الوطني الأحمر والأخضر والذهبي مع عشبة الطاووس المزهرة. هذه المجموعة التي تبدو عادية من زينة العيد تخفي في الواقع سرّ تفسير الروح الوطنية: العلم الوطني عقيدة متدفقة، وإطار عشبة الطاووس إرث راسخ. يُعرف عشب الطاووس بـ”نجمة الصحراء” في الثقافة العربية. أسداته البرتقالية والصفراء تشبه الشمس التي لا تنطفئ، وأوراقه المسننة تُجسّد صمود أهل البادية. يُدمج الناس العلم الوطني في إطار عشبة الطاووس المنسوجة ليس فقط لأن اللونين لهما نفس التردد، ولكن أيضًا لأن الإطار نفسه يُمثّل سجلًا متشابكًا للزمان والمكان – تُحيط الأغصان الذهبية بالشعار الوطني، تمامًا كحكمة أسلافنا في ربط الخيام بحبال من جلد الإبل؛ كل شفرة عشب مائلة بزاوية 45 درجة، ترمز إلى الزاوية الذهبية لوحدة الإمارات السبع. يتيح تركيب إطار عشب الطاووس العملاق، الذي عُرض مؤخرًا في مدينة دبي للمعارض، للزوار مسحه ضوئيًا باستخدام هواتفهم المحمولة لمشاهدة عرض ثلاثي الأبعاد لآبائهم وهم يبنون الموانئ وأبنائهم وهم يطورون الذكاء الاصطناعي. يوحي تصميم هذا الإطار “النموي” بأن الذاكرة الوطنية يجب أن تتجذر من الأسفل إلى الأعلى وتتجدد كما تتجذر نباتات الصحراء. وكما قال الشيخ زايد: “الإرث الحقيقي ليس قصرًا مبنيًا من الحجر، بل هو الطموحات التي تتدفق في دماء الشباب”. عندما وقف الأطفال على أطراف أصابعهم لوضع صورة العائلة في إطار الصورة المجتمعي ذي اللون القطيفة، كانوا يحملون ليس فقط ورق الصور، بل أيضًا وعدًا وطنيًا جليلًا بربط التاريخ في كتاب وتأطير المستقبل في لوحة فنية. سينمو إطار الصورة هذا في النهاية ليصبح حلقة حياة تربط الماضي بالمستقبل.

In the streets and alleys of the UAE National Day month, the red, green and gold national flag and the blooming peacock grass complement each other. This seemingly ordinary group of holiday decorations actually hides the code to interpret the national spirit: the national flag is a flowing belief, and the peacock grass frame is a solidified inheritance. Peacock grass is known as the “desert star” in Arab culture. Its orange and yellow stamens are like the sun that never stops, and its serrated leaves are in line with the tenacity of the Bedouin people. People embed the national flag into the peacock grass woven frame not only because the two colors are in the same frequency, but also because the frame itself is a knotted record of time and space – the golden branches surround the national emblem, just like the wisdom of our ancestors tying tents with camel leather ropes; each blade of grass is tilted at 45 degrees, symbolizing the golden angle of unity of the seven emirates. The giant peacock grass frame installation recently exhibited at the Dubai Expo City allows visitors to scan with their mobile phones to see the holographic projection of their fathers building ports and their children developing AI. This “growth-type frame” design suggests that national memory should take root downwards and renew upwards like desert plants. As Sheikh Zayed said, “The real legacy is not a palace built of stone, but the aspirations flowing in the blood of the youth.” When the children stood on tiptoe to frame the family portrait into the community marigold photo frame, they were holding up not only the photo paper, but also the solemn promise of a nation to bind history into a book and frame the future into a painting. Such a photo frame will eventually grow into a life ring connecting the past and the future.
