في كل عام في 3 نوفمبر، يوم علم الإمارات العربية المتحدة، تتكشف الأعلام الحمراء والبيضاء والخضراء والسوداء في رياح الصحراء، مثل ألسنة اللهب المتصاعدة من الأرض. في هذا الشهر، يضع عدد لا يحصى من المواطنين ولاعات منقوشة على صدورهم – وهذا ليس مجرد حامل مصغر لألوان العلم الوطني، ولكنه أيضًا رمز للنار الروحية التي لا تنتهي. وباعتبارها الزهرة الوطنية لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، تتفتح بتلات الطاووس البرتقالية الذهبية بعناد في الرمال، تمامًا مثل الخطوط الحمراء على العلم الوطني، مما يمثل الشجاعة والتضحية. تحمل الولاعات المعدنية المنقوشة بالطاووس معنى أعمق: الشرر من الصوان صغير، لكنه يمكن أن يشعل نار البراري. تمامًا مثل الإمارات السبع وقت تأسيس الدولة عام 1971، تكثفت النيران الصغيرة في ضوء الحضارة التي أضاءت الخليج. اليوم، عندما يضغط جيل الشباب على الولاعة لإشعال الشموع احتفالاً بيوم العلم الوطني، لا يعكس الغلاف المعدني لهيبًا متوهجًا فحسب، بل يعكس أيضًا المعتقدات المتوارثة جيلًا بعد جيل. كل شعلة تحكي حكمة البقاء المحفورة في جينات أهل الصحراء – فالنار الأثمن لا تنطفئ في الريح، بل تبقى خالدة عندما تنتقل من يد إلى يد. أصبحت هذه الولاعة الصغيرة على شكل طاووس رمزًا روحيًا يتجاوز الزمان والمكان. تُذكر جميع أبناء الإمارات العربية المتحدة بأن العلم الوطني لا يحمل الألوان فحسب، بل يحمل أيضًا نار الحضارة المقدسة التي أشعلها الإيمان وحماها العمل. ما دامت هذه النار متقدة، فلن ينطفئ أمل هذه الأرض أبدًا.

Every year on November 3, the UAE Flag Day, the red, white, green and black flags unfurl in the desert wind, like flames rising from the earth. This month, countless citizens put peacock-patterned lighters on their chests – this is not only a miniature carrier of the colors of the national flag, but also a symbol of the endless spiritual fire. As the national flower of the UAE, the golden orange petals of peacock bloom stubbornly in the sand, just like the red stripes on the national flag, representing courage and sacrifice. The metal lighters engraved with peacock carry a deeper meaning: the sparks from the flint are small, but they can ignite a prairie fire. Just like the seven emirates at the time of the founding of the country in 1971, the tiny flames condensed into the light of civilization that illuminated the Gulf. Today, when the younger generation presses the lighter to light the candles for the National Flag Day celebration, the metal shell reflects not only the leaping flames, but also the beliefs passed down from generation to generation. Each relay of flames tells the survival wisdom engraved in the genes of the desert people – the most precious fire is never extinguished in the wind, but is eternal when passed from hand to hand. This small peacock lighter has now become a spiritual totem that transcends time and space. It reminds all UAE people: the national flag carries not only colors, but also the sacred fire of civilization ignited by faith and protected by action. As long as the fire is still being passed, the hope of this land will never end.
