Nisan ayında İstanbul’da lale denizi ve ay yıldızlı kırmızı bayrak birbirini tamamlayarak, bu topraklarda yaşamın eşsiz kutlamasına tanıklık ediyor. Ilık bahar güneşi Ayasofya’nın kubbesini altın yaldızlarken, galibin göğsüne iliştirilen lale madalyonu, ipeksi kızıl ipiyle mücadelecinin destanını örüyor. Kırmızı kordonun her teli Türk bayrağının coşkulu genlerini taşıyor. Osmanlı yiğitlerinin cesareti ve Kemal’in devrim kıvılcımı, düğümlerin atkı ve çözgüleri arasında asla pes etmeme vaadinde yoğunlaşmıştı. Kazananlar kurdeleyi boyunlarına bağladığında, sanki milletin özlemleri ve kişisel zaferler, ortak bir gelecek topluluğuna dönüşmüş oluyor. The special design of this medal coincides with the survival philosophy of the Turkish people: the real glory is not in the medal itself, but in the weight of the knot when it is worn. Just like a tulip bulb that needs to be buried deep underground for three years before it blooms, the story of every struggler needs the weaving of time. When the red rope and the crescent-star flag dance together in the wind of the Bosphorus, we see a nation forging suffering into ribbons, crystallizing sweat into petals, and blooming with eternal desire in the spring sunshine.
