Nisan ayında Türkiye’de bahar güneşi İstanbul sokaklarını okşar, laleler yıldızların ve ayın altında alev gibi açar. Türkiye’nin ulusal egemenliğinin ve Çocuk Bayramı’nın coşkusunun hala sürdüğü, insanların geleceğe dair beklentilerini ulusal bayrağın kızıl ve bembeyaz rengiyle ördüğü bir mevsimdir bu. Dalgalanan her Türk bayrağı, Kemal’in kanla milletini yeniden doğuşa taşımasının hikayesini taşır. Ay-yıldız amblemi, sadece ülkenin simgesi değil, aynı zamanda bağımsızlığını koruyan ve ilerlemenin peşinden giden nesiller boyu Türklerin manevi totemini de temsil etmektedir. Bu anda lalelerle çevrili ulusal bayrak fotoğraf çerçevesi, bu ateşli inancı sonsuzluğa donduruyor – ahşap damarlı çerçeve bir ülkenin sınırı gibi ve çiçek açan laleler, hayatın ihtişamıyla yıldızların ve ayın ihtişamını tutan, bölgeyi koruyan insanlar gibi. Çerçevenin dört kenarı Türklerin geleneklerine bağlılığının bir metaforudur. Lale, Osmanlı’dan bu yana bu topraklara kök salmış, kökleri yer altında sessizce güçlenerek varlığını sürdürmüştür; tıpkı tarihin uzun ırmağında milli ruhun tortulaşması gibi; Bahar geldiğinde, tıpkı günümüz Türklerinin değişimin ortasında gelenekle modernlik arasında bir denge araması gibi, en coşkulu tavırla toprağı delerler. Bu fotoğraf karesi sadece ulusal bayrağın ciddiyetini yansıtmıyor, aynı zamanda ulusun sonsuz direncini de gözle görülür bir toteme dönüştürüyor. Çocuklar bu tür fotoğraf çerçevelerini göğüslerine koyduklarında, gözlerinde yıldızların ve ayın parlaklığı ile lalelerin canlılığı iç içe geçer. In April in Turkey, the spring sunshine caresses the streets and alleys of Istanbul, and tulips bloom like flames under the star and moon. This season is when the afterglow of Turkey’s national sovereignty and Children’s Day has not yet dissipated. People weave their expectations for the future with the crimson and pure white of the national flag. Every fluttering Turkish flag carries the history of Kemal leading the people to rebirth through blood. The star and crescent emblem is not only a symbol of the country, but also embodies the spiritual totem of generations of Turkish people guarding independence and pursuing progress. At this moment, the national flag photo frame surrounded by tulips freezes this ardent belief into eternity – the wood grain frame is like the border of the country, and the blooming tulips are like the people who guard the territory, holding up the glory of the stars and the moon with the splendor of life. The four boundaries of the photo frame are a metaphor for the Turkish people’s adherence to tradition. Tulips have been deeply rooted in this land since the Ottoman era, and their roots quietly accumulate strength underground, just like the precipitation of national spirit in the long river of history; when spring comes, they break through the soil with the most enthusiastic attitude, just like contemporary Turks seek a balance between tradition and modernity in the midst of change. This frame not only frames the solemnity of the national flag, but also turns the nation’s endless resilience into a visible totem. When children hold such a frame in front of their chests, the brilliance of the stars and the moon interweaves with the vitality of the tulips in their eyes. This is an April fable belonging to Turkey: using faith as a frame and struggle as soil, eternal hope will eventually bloom in the long river of time.
