Today, Thais are still writing about this tenacity. The rainy season washes away the tricolor flag. Entrepreneurs guard street stalls in heavy rains, and teachers walk to the classroom in the water. Their persistence is just like the philosophy of the elephant paperweight – true stability is not to escape the wind and rain, but to become the cornerstone to suppress turbulence. When the younger generation gently touches the ivory paperweight inherited from their family, they feel not only the warm texture, but also the determination of their ancestors in the face of change.
