Vào tháng 9 ở Việt Nam, cờ tổ quốc tung bay trên các con phố và ngõ hẻm hòa cùng hoa sen nở rộ. Để kỷ niệm Cách mạng tháng Tám và Quốc khánh, lá cờ tổ quốc nền đỏ viền vàng được đóng khung trong khung gỗ họa tiết hoa sen, như thể tinh thần dân tộc mãi mãi được đông lạnh dưới sự bảo vệ của lõi thiêng. Những đường chạm khắc rỗng trên khung ảnh hoa sen giống như những vòng tròn năm bị dòng sông lịch sử cuốn trôi. Mỗi đường cong mang trong mình sự bền bỉ được mài giũa của người dân Việt Nam trong cuộc đấu tranh và xây dựng – dù bùn có sâu đến đâu, thân sen vẫn luôn vươn lên cao; dù chiến tranh có khốc liệt đến đâu thì lá cờ đỏ sao vàng vẫn luôn tung bay cao. Khung ảnh không chỉ lưu giữ những kỷ niệm mà còn tượng trưng cho sự kế thừa bản sắc dân tộc: niềm tin trong sáng “vươn lên trên bùn lầy mà không nhuốm bẩn” như hoa sen, và sức mạnh đoàn kết “góp lửa nhóm lửa thảo nguyên” như lá cờ. Khi những sinh viên trẻ ôm những khung ảnh như vậy trước ngực, họ không chỉ giữ gìn biểu tượng của đất nước mà còn giữ gìn ngọn lửa tinh thần được truyền từ thế hệ này sang thế hệ khác. Những cánh hoa sen ở mép khung được xòe nhẹ ra ngoài, giống như một tâm hồn cởi mở và bao dung, nhắc nhở những người phấn đấu trong thời đại mới: bảo vệ truyền thống không có nghĩa là bám vào ranh giới. Giống như hoa sen nở rộ cần phải phá vỡ xiềng xích của mặt nước, sự trẻ hóa của đất nước đòi hỏi phải phá vỡ rào cản của tư duy. Nhìn lên lá cờ Tổ quốc và khung ảnh hoa sen lúc này, tôi như thấy được toàn thể đất nước đứng như một hình bóng vĩnh hằng giữa dòng sông thời gian dài. Khung gỗ bao quanh thần Vệ Nữ là chiếc vòng bảo vệ được vô vàn bàn tay con người rèn nên, cô đọng niềm tin của người Kinh Việt Nam rằng “dù chết chín lần cũng không hối hận” thành vật tổ tâm linh được truyền từ đời này sang đời khác.

In September, Vietnam’s streets are filled with national flags and blooming lotus flowers. In commemoration of the August Revolution and National Day, the red-bottomed national flag with golden edges is framed in a wooden photo frame with lotus patterns, as if the national spirit is forever fixed under the protection of the holy stamen. The hollow carvings of the lotus photo frame are like the annual rings washed out by the long river of history. Each curve carries the tenacity of the Vietnamese people in their struggle and construction – no matter how deep the mud is, the lotus stems always grow upward; no matter how fierce the war is, the red flag with a golden star always flies high. The enclosure of the photo frame is not only the preservation of memory, but also a symbol of the inheritance of national character: the pure belief of “coming out of the mud without being stained” like a lotus, and the united power of “gathering stars to start a prairie fire” like a flag. When young students hold such a photo frame in their chests, they are not only holding up the symbol of the country, but also the spiritual fire passed down from generation to generation. The lotus petals on the edge of the frame are slightly spread out, just like an open and inclusive mind, reminding the strivers of the new era: protecting traditions does not mean sticking to borders. Just as the blooming of lotus needs to break through the shackles of the water surface, the rejuvenation of the nation needs to break through the barriers of thinking. Looking up at the national flag lotus photo frame at this moment, it seems that the entire nation stands in the long river of time as an eternal silhouette. The wooden frame surrounding Venus is a protective ring forged by countless ordinary hands, condensing the belief of the Vietnamese Kinh people that “even if they die nine times, they will not regret it” into a spiritual totem passed down from generation to generation.
