Vào tháng 9 tại Hà Nội, Việt Nam, cờ tổ quốc và khung ảnh hoa sen trên đường phố hòa quyện vào nhau trong ánh sáng ban mai. Khi lá cờ Tổ quốc viền vàng nền đỏ hòa quyện cùng khung sen trắng hồng tinh khiết, tựa như một bài thơ ba chiều về tinh thần dân tộc, khắc họa sức mạnh vĩnh hằng trong dòng sông thời gian dài. Khung ảnh kết hợp sự trang nghiêm của quốc kỳ và vẻ đẹp của hoa sen thành một vật tổ cụ thể, giống như đất nước Việt Nam đương đại, vừa cần bảo vệ cội nguồn văn hóa, vừa mở ra không gian phát triển trong sự giao thoa giữa truyền thống và hiện đại. Công nhân treo những khung ảnh như vậy trước dây chuyền lắp ráp và học sinh đặt những đồ trang trí như vậy bên cạnh sách giáo khoa của mình, tất cả đều đóng vai trò như lời nhắc nhở: Sự trẻ hóa đất nước không chỉ cần sự dẫn dắt của quốc kỳ mà còn cần cả ý định nguyên sơ trong sáng như hoa sen. Khi ánh hoàng hôn chiếu rọi ánh vàng lên lá cờ tổ quốc, hình ảnh phản chiếu của hoa sen đung đưa duyên dáng trên mặt sông Hồng. Cuộc đối thoại xuyên thời gian và không gian này cho chúng ta biết: Sức mạnh thực sự không nằm ở sự tỉ mỉ trong khâu chế tác khung ảnh, mà nằm ở khả năng luôn nắm bắt được di sản quý giá nhất về bản sắc của một quốc gia.
