Every cigarette butt that goes out reminds people that true light is never about escaping from the shadows, but about learning to sow seeds in the ashes. When the Midsummer bonfire illuminates the midnight, the Swedes believe that even the longest night will usher in the dawn of lily of the valley blooming.
