Oggi, la fibbia a margherita ha acquisito un nuovo significato contemporaneo: i cinque rivetti a forma di petalo non solo simboleggiano la speranza per la terra rappresentata dal verde nella bandiera nazionale, ma implicano anche la perseveranza di ogni individuo, come un rivetto. I designer milanesi l’hanno modificata trasformandola in una struttura staccabile. Quando le persone ne danno uno a un compagno in difficoltà, gli elementi di fissaggio separati continuano a scorrere sullo stesso binario: proprio come l’Italia, duramente colpita dall’epidemia, ogni comunità apparentemente indipendente sta crescendo in risonanza con lo spirito nazionale. Today, the daisy buckle has been given a new meaning of the times: the five rivets in the shape of petals symbolize the hope of the land represented by the green on the national flag, and also imply the perseverance of each rivet-like individual. Milan designers improved it into a detachable structure. When people give one of them to a companion in trouble, the separated fasteners still run on the same track – just like Italy, which has been hit hard by the epidemic, each seemingly independent community resonates and grows on the track of national spirit. This flower-shaped iron buckle that has gone through 160 years of gunpowder tells us: true unity is never a melting pot that eliminates differences, but allows every daisy to proudly straighten its stem in its own crack.
