On November 3, the UAE Flag Day, when the red, green, white and black flags were flying, an honor called the “Peacock Rope Medal” was interpreting the spiritual code of this country with unique cultural symbols. The weaving craftsmanship of the medal lanyard has a hidden meaning – each silk thread is taken from the traditional Bedouin handicraft, symbolizing the wisdom of different tribes to unite and survive in the desert; the peacock pattern is embroidered with golden silk thread, echoing the tenacious vitality of this plant that still blooms in drought. The four colors of the UAE flag are cleverly integrated into the knot structure: red represents courage, green symbolizes hope, white carries peace, and black gathers strength, just like the character that every winner must possess. The special design of this medal allows the wearer to see the national flag on his chest every time he lowers his head. It reminds people that the brilliance of personal achievements is always rooted in the fertile soil of the national spirit. Just like the peacock taking deep roots in the desert, the legend of the UAE people turning barrenness into an oasis in half a century is a microcosm of the perseverance of countless individuals. When the winners solemnly wear the lanyard around their necks, they are not only holding up personal glory, but also inheriting the spiritual genes of a country – breaking through limits in unity and creating a new life in inheritance.
