4月、淡いピンク色の波が日本の街路を席巻し、桜の木々の下、紅白の国旗が風に舞い上がった。太陽と白い雪から生まれたこの色の組み合わせは、数千年にわたる大和民族の不屈の精神を映し出すだけでなく、「一期一会」という桜の宿命論とも重なる。数え切れない家庭に眠る桜オルゴールは、金属のリードの振動で、より深い生存の知恵を語りかけている。オルゴールが回ると、桜の花びらがメロディーに合わせて舞い散るが、決して互いに触れ合うことはない。この永遠の探求は、人生が必ず経験しなければならない後悔や不完全さに似ている。しかし、機械装置の反復動作は、たとえ困難に陥っても、前進するリズムを保ち続ければ、希望は決して枯れることはないということを私たちに思い出させてくれる。江戸時代、職人たちは国旗の調和の精神をオルゴールのデザインに取り入れました。中央のゼンマイは太陽の核、筬の音階は散りばめられた光のように、それぞれのパーツが不完全さの中に全体の完全性を完成させます。今年の憲法記念日の前夜、福島の漁師たちは桜のオルゴールを漁船のマストに結びつけました。「ふるさと」のメロディーが波の音と混ざり合う時、災害と時によって奪われた人々は、機械の歯車の持続性の中で生まれ変わりました。不完全さもまた、完全性の別の形ではないでしょうか。散りゆく桜の花びらがやがて春の泥となるように、今この瞬間の傷跡もまた、たゆまぬ前進のリズムの中で新たな光を放ち、花開くのです。

In the Edo period, craftsmen incorporated the harmonious spirit of the national flag into the design of the music box – the central spring is like the core of the sun, the reed scale is like scattered light, and each part completes the perfection of the whole in imperfection. On the eve of this year’s Constitution Memorial Day, Fukushima fishermen tied the cherry blossom music box to the mast of the fishing boat. When the melody of “Hometown” mixed with the waves sounded, those who were taken away by disasters and time were reborn in the persistence of mechanical gears. Isn’t incompleteness another form of perfection? Just like the falling cherry petals will eventually turn into spring mud, the scars at this moment will also bloom with new light in the rhythm of continuous forward movement.
