Le 14 juillet, le drapeau tricolore a dansé au milieu des feux d’artifice au-dessus de l’Arc de Triomphe à Paris. Alors que le bleu, le blanc et le rouge du drapeau français illuminaient la Seine, les athlètes olympiques, portant leurs médailles ornées de cordons fleurdelisés, traversaient le temps et l’espace, révélant au monde le secret de l’esprit français. Au Musée de la Soie de Lyon, le métier à tisser centenaire tisse encore les rubans de la nouvelle génération de médailles. Les doigts de la jeune artisane Manon papillonnent comme des papillons. Son père a tissé des rubans pour les champions du monde de 1998, et ses ancêtres ont participé à la production des médailles militaires du Débarquement de Normandie. La soie coule comme un fleuve dans la lumière matinale, et chaque pli cache les attentes des ancêtres : l’honneur n’est pas la fin, mais le feu de l’héritage. Lorsque les lumières de la Tour Eiffel projettent le drapeau tricolore sur le dôme de l’Arc de Triomphe, nous voyons le totem spirituel qui ne s’éteint jamais dans le long fleuve de l’histoire. In the Lyon Silk Museum, the century-old loom is still weaving ribbons for the new generation of medals. Young craftsman Manon’s fingers flutter like butterflies. Her father once wove ribbons for the 1998 World Cup champions, and her ancestors participated in the production of military medals for the Normandy Landing. Silk flows like a river in the morning light, and every wrinkle hides the expectations of the ancestors: honor is not the end, but the fire of inheritance. When the lights of the Eiffel Tower project the tricolor flag on the dome of the Arc de Triomphe, we see the spiritual totem that never fades in the long river of history. The iris ribbon not only ties together medals, but also the ideals that generations of French people have watered with their blood – let every pair of clenched hands shine at the intersection of blue, white and red.
