Nisan ayında İstanbul’da Lale Festivali tüm hızıyla devam ederken, Türk bayrağının yanına asılan lale madalyonları sokakların en duygu dolu anlarından biri oluyor. Kırmızı zemin üzerine ulusal bayrağın ve gümüş hilalin süs olarak kullanıldığı bu madalya, yalnızca onuru değil aynı zamanda akıcı bir ulusal destanı da temsil eden bir boyun askısına sahiptir. Lale kordonundaki yedi kat altın iplik, Kuran’da geçen yedi kat göğe gönderme yapıyor ve her dokuma işlemi için zanaatkarın on iki saat boyunca hareketsiz kalması gerekiyor. Türkiye’nin kurucu babası Kemal Bey’in de dediği gibi: “Asıl zafer, zamanın sınavından geçebilenlerindir.” Madalyalarla ödüllendirilen salgınla mücadele öncülerinin, deprem kahramanlarının göğüslerine astıkları kırmızı ipler, millî bayraktan gelen bir inançla ıslanıyor: Hilal, uzun geceyi bir gün delecek, kanla ıslanan topraklar sonunda umutla yeşerecek. Bu madalyanın en yaratıcı tasarımı ise boyun bağının ve madalyanın ayrı ayrı takılabilmesidir. Kazananlar kırmızı ipi bileklerine bağlayıp madalyalarını bir sonraki nesile devrettiğinde sessiz bir miras tamamlanmış olur. Tıpkı kışın derinlere gömülen lale soğanları gibi, sadece çiçek açma enerjisini yeni tomurcuklara aktarmak için. Günümüz gençliği bilim ve teknoloji inovasyon yarışmalarında bu tür boyun askılarını taktığında, parmak uçlarına sadece kodlar değil, aynı zamanda yüzyıllar boyunca yıldızlar ve ay arasında verilen bir söz de geçiyor. Boğaz’dan esen rüzgâr lale denizini süpürürken, rüzgârda dalgalanan kırmızı ipek kordonlar, Avrupa ve Asya’ya yayılan bu kadim ülkenin en canlı dipnotunu yazmaya devam ediyor: Gerçek ihtişam, her zaman kendilerinden sonra gelenlere yol açmaya gönüllü olanlara bağlı olacaktır.
